I had JUST ordered mine when I came here to report this news, ha! Funny thing is, these two packs don't show on ANY search you can do for Transformers products on their site. YOu would have had to search for them randomly. Thankfully, now there are the links for those who want them!

Hey, I just ordered my Fall of Cybertron Data Disc Two-Packs at TRU.com and the are running a special right now where you buy one Transformers item, get the 2nd 40% off. So, I got the 2nd pack for a little more than $6.

Well, the toys suck the big one but it's great to see the artwork. Soundwave's minions are hard to make out in the games. Ratbat's model is cool. Also, since Ratbat didn't appear in the game, I hope this is Hasbro's attempt to keep the name for a future Masterpiece toy.

Edit: does anyone else think Frenzy looks more like Enemy?

cause i spent all my money on the deluxe sale bro. the minions are awful and the way soundwave's back and spine pop all the way out when he has a minion in him is disgusting. i definitely want soundwave though.

Well, he looks better from the front than he does the side. ;)

I've always wanted a Soundwave that could deploy his classic-named minions: as long as they look similar to the characters they're homaging, I'll eat them up in a matter of seconds!

...Not literally eat them. Plastic doesn't really taste all that great...

Ive had these for about 2 weeks now. Rumble/Frenzy are OK, Ratbat is nice, but Ravage is a big pile of steaming slag. Sooo aweful.

These things costs the same as a deluxe and really are not worth the money for what you get.

They do have really nice colours though.

These Bakugan minions just don't appeal to me. At least half the fun of Transformers is transforming them; I don't want the toy to do it automatically.

I have to admit, I'm not too keen on the concept. I'd rather better articulated toys than ones with a silly gimmick.

It was the completest in me that broke down on these and the Soundwaves. Finally being able to have Classicverse versions of all of Soundwave's (and Blaster's) troops.

Up until now, it's been a trickle down method of getting them (cassette mode Ravage, Cybertronian Ratbat, Booster 10 filling in for Laserbeak).

If the Masterpiece editions weren't on the horizon, I'd have lots more critical to say about these things. BUT, since there are articulated, very G1 editions on the way... these wind up being very fun alternate versions. With the spring loaded gimmick, I know they'll be little bricks. No expectations there.

My only real complaint is that Rumble and Frenzy don't resemble their G1 counterparts much... (looking at their chests, arms, legs, etc.) and with the sides of their heads being different colors — they really could pass for just about ANY other character or minicon. If you showed them to me as a prototype (without the color), I wouldn't have even been able to identify them.

Did anyone get theirs yet? I opened Soundwave and I don't see his handcannon. Got the shoulder cannon and Laserbeak, though.

Guess you didn't get the memo. >:oP

He doesn't come with one, other than the shoulder cannon. The rifle seen on the package is a preproduction prototype of Soundwave using what appears to be G1 Optimus's ion cannon as a stand in until they could come up with one. Seeing that they never figured it out... :-(

Thanks for the heads up. That kinda blows, as the figure would look fantastic with a decent hand cannon and the gun is still featured in the instructions. I'll have to see if there's a DotM toy who needs relieved of a non-mechtech weapon, or if iGear's weapon box has anything accurate.

I'm just gunna use the Deluxe's rifle and see what happens. I may replace his shoulder cannon with the Deluxe's as well and see how that looks.

I only get a $60 dollar allowance every month and so I will have to wait until after Christmas to get these. I have gone way past my budget lately. So many figures! I might see I can get these for Christmas. SW55 :CON:
