Unfortunately, in this case exclusivity is the main factor in determining the price. If these were at regular retail, they'd be at regular retail price, even if they were remolded Terrorcons.DeathReviews wrote:If I had blood, $35 per Deluxe would still be too rich for it. That's way too pricey for some remolded Terrorcons, even if the remolding is well done. Pass on the Seacons, alas, unless they wind up on discount someplace (though in this case, discounted would probably make them regular retail price).
I think there's more to it than just that. I'm looking at Skalor, who is the only one still in stock, and not only does he have the combiner hand, but there are a sword and a couple of guns. Those gotta cost something since the standard PotP combiners only had a single accessory with the hand, not multiple.Rodimus Prime wrote:Unfortunately, in this case exclusivity is the main factor in determining the price. They're not, don't want them at that price, don't buy them, but the parts count on the accessories alone would make the hasbro execs blush, not to mention most of them are new, save for the bot mode legs, turtler is 90% new tooling;
I'm sure if this was released under the UW line, people would be lining up to kiss's ass (a'la computicon), but cuz it's under a line started by hasbro, it's suddenly offensive somehow; if anything, habsro's being a bro and distributing them outside of TTmalls' extremely small market reach

He's not, he reuses the waist and back of PotP Moonracer, and possibly some of the joint pieces. He does have the highest percentage of new parts next to Turtler/Snaptrap.
What do you mean "if"? It's literally TakaraTomy's eighth Selects figure.aronjlove wrote:If that Megatron comes to Selects I am soooo freaking buying it.
Ah yeah! Thank you, I must not have been paying attention.Sabrblade wrote:What do you mean "if"? It's literally TakaraTomy's eighth Selects figure.aronjlove wrote:If that Megatron comes to Selects I am soooo freaking buying it.
