toys r us- For fans of the collectible side of Transformers that does not necessarily include just transforming toys, HASBRO produces Mighty Muggs, as another option.

These cute, little deformed toys have had many different representations of characters painted on them from Marvel Super Heroes, to Star Wars, and GI JOE.

Now TRANSFORMERS have made their debut with Wave 1 showing up at TRU, and K-Marts, as well as, comic book stores. Wave 1 includes Generation 1 versions Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron, and Soundwave.

I included picture proof of my find, only purchasing Soundwave and Optimus Prime at a Toys R Us here in Westland, MI, but I may go back and pick up Bumblebee and Megatron.

Yeah I saw a full set of these at TRU yesterday...There weren't any shelf-tags for them though...But I've already promised myself I'd leave these alone...I spend too much money on this stuff as it is

I'm not a big fan of Muggs, but I may get the Soundwave, he's pretty cool.

I've seen most of these at Walmart this past Thursday. They had all but Starscream and Grimlock.

Just seen Prime. Bumblebee, Megatron and Soundwave in Worlds Apart, Liverpool, UK. All unpriced, so they'll want silly money for them.

Couldn't afford them right now anyway.

I just don't understand these things. Are they paperweights, action figures? They just sit there.

How many of you guys are going to buy these things? I am genuinely curious.

I am.

I know I just said a few posts up that I'm not but I can't help it...There is something insanely enticing about them

I mean, they don't serve any purpose at all and yet I find myself wanting them...The G.I. Joe and Marvel ones are tugging at me as well but I can resist those...The TFs I just can't and the next time I see them, they're mine!

i'm gonna buy Megatron. hes the only one i'll buy. Im a sucker for anything megatron! other than that i have no desire to get these.

That shockwave cracks me up...I can't wait ti lhe comes out

I don't know what it is about Mighty Mugs that is so damn appealing...But even other sets have really cool ones...I love the Ghost Rider one and I'm really doing my best to resist buying SnakeEyes and Storm Shadow...

These things are ridiculous. Even though they don't do anything I keep picking them up at the store and thinking about buying them. So far I have resisted...

I picked up Bumblebee and Soundwave today and I LOVE them! I just can't help it! Bumbles is adorable because he has hlaf-sized legs to make him shorter

And Soundwave...Oh they did the awesomest thing ever and painted a SCREW on the back of his head...I just about DIED... :APPLAUSE:

They didn't have Optimus and the Megatron that was there had a really crummy paint app so I passed on it...I asked around a bit and most places have these guys on the way but just haven't gotten them in...KMart had a shelf tag for them but the lady said they probably wouldnt get them for a month or so (not that I really care because KMart has them priced at $12.99 a piece)...

These and the G.I. Joe ones (which I have STILL managed to resist even though it's getting harder) are probably the coolest ones they've put out yet...
