The Universe of the Transformers is vast, and populated by many characters. Their universe is a large tapestry, made up of the stories and points of view of countless experiences that serve the larger whole.

These are some of those stories. This is:

Almost kind of imagine that Wheeljack was trying to not sound like a total geek nearly quoting from the most recent set of Spiderman films (though Wheeljack is hardly any sort of Peter Parker anyway, for that matter any of the Autobots)

Minor quibble. "Sub-standard materials"? Being the Dinobots have shrugged off everything the 'Cons threw at them (in dino mode, anyway), I'd say they have better armor than any of the other Autobots.

Love the ties to their War Within existence to their Cartoon origins. It's funny that none of the other "new bots" created on earth had this brought up.

They touched on this in the original Marvel comic series. Prime didn't have room for all the Autobots who volunteered to go on the Ark, so some he brought just their brain patterns along for easy storage and maybe later new bodies. That's how later on they added the '85 characters - Tracks, Skids, Grapple, etc. Earlier, our introduction to the Dinos is Slag remembering the Ark waking them up and adapting them to "native lifeforms" to fight Shockwave. Everyone else was too heavily damaged to repair in time.

Very nicely done, the artwork for this is outstanding! Fills in that plot hole for me nicely.

Awesome comic, but something seems strangely familiar about the core idea of it... http://www.allspark.com/forums/index.ph ... opic=68980

Being a tribute to both Simon Furman (War Within characters) and Bob Budiansky ("stored" warriors on the Ark), it is unavoidable that this story uses elements already explored by fans in 20 and more years of debates :)
