Nice! It's been so long I forgot what the previous wave was. Anybody notice what looks like a new (Wheeljack?) helmet on Sunstreaker?

Nope that's Wheeljacks head. I wish these would turn up more in the UK. My local Morrisons still has 2 full boxes of Wave 2 and I have never seen Wave 3 in retail, let alone the second or third wave of the Combiners :(

Oh, now they get the "Trailbreaker" name back.

And "Decepticon Blackarachnia"? Don't tell me they lost her name now, too.

"Decepticon" Blackarachnia? So they lost the rights to her name too, or only have it trademarked parsed into two words so they want to cover all their bases, or some other toy company's actually using it...?

Haven't collected these yet, but if her Kreon's the least bit more show-accurate than her original Tarantulas repaint in some way, this may be the wave that gets its foot in the door to my collection. BW Kreons are more versatile than most anyway, because they can sort of scale properly with most regular G1 toys.

I think it has more to do with the area the trademark has been applied for. We should still have "Blackarachnia" and "Trailbreaker" is normally out of reach for regular "Boys' Toys", but "Construction Sets" is a whole new area with a slightly different availability. See "Kre-O Sinnertwin" vs. "Prime Twinstrike" >:oP

And finally we have a Skalor!

That makes sense, but I'm still scratching my head over Kre-O Sinnertwin, since when Twinstrike was announced, a lot of us thought Hasbro just wouldn't risk putting "Sinner" on any toy, period.

And yes, I'm technically happy about the completion of the Kre-O Seacons; heck, I'm ecstatic whenever I see the Piranacon set in stores. But then I look closer at the actual figures, and think of all the Arms Microns I could be saving up for instead. No, I won't be buying too many exceptions from this line besides DB, and even she's still a maybe.

Fuselage appears to be Octane and Skimmer might be DOTM Air Raid.

Good call! I am spotting oddities in the form of Trailbreaker and Scattershot, as they already have figures in the Kreon line-up. Movie versions perhaps?

Blackarachnia, Skalor, and Sea Spray are must haves. I could pass on the rest.
Definitely going to give Sea Spray the diver helmet and flippers.

There are 2 versions of scattershot, right? G1 Technobot and the missile launcher from cybertron. So who is this new guy?

^ MHawk44 (from TFW) did just that --and a few other mods-- on his custom Sunstreaker, it turned out great!

It's about time they reused that Wheeljack helmet. Thought they'd have done a Slicer by now...

Whooooooooo! Wheelie! :michaelbay:

I'm getting about half this wave but the only one I care about is Wheelie. Then again I said I only wanted Hot Rod out of the last wave and ended up with nearly all of them eventually so that's probably going to happen again. Though why another Trailbreaker? He got a single set along with Windcharger form Beast Hunters.

So, what exactly makes these movie Kreons? I can't name a single one of these that appeared in the movies (from what I can remember, it has been a while), except for Wheelie. And even Wheelie seems to be G1 based. Did they just restart the numbering on the Micro-Changer series?

They're movie in name only. The main sets are AoE style, wouldn't make sense business-wise to make another subset for the Kre-O Transformers line. Besides, some figures are Movie style in that they supplement the Combiner sets, like Torosaur, Skrapnel and Silversnout from Wave 1, and Frostbite from this wave. I can't tell who belongs to what combiner tho.
