When you say
the first figure of a new Masterpiece subline dedicated to the movieverse Transformers.
have we been told that there will be more? Will they just be fancy versions of the existing leaders or is that just speculation?

Well, we still have Battle Ops Bumblebee as a Prime candidate for MP-M02. I think that Leader Prime will not be featured in that, since he already appeared in a main line. The Japanese will not be appreciative of chucking that known figure in the MP line.

IMO it would be a total waste of money to buy this version over the Hasbro one. Movie 1 accurate paintjob & spiffy box does not equal twice the price.

So if I do get Leader Starscream (I probably will), it'll be the Hasbro one.

I'm pretty sure they plan to make more, even the name of this implies this will be one of many Starscream versions as this is TF The Movie version I'm sure there will be a ROTF version down the line. It all depends on how well this figure fares but fact is this is a new sub line even if it's currently only got one figure.

Wouldn't that really be the definative repaint of a repaint? Taking a figure, stripping it of those dumb tattoos, and then releasing it again as being repainted back into it's original state of having said tattoos? :D

The only thing I wish the Hasbro version had was the blue he was supposed to have on his face but other than that I am okay with the Hasbro version

I think the reason why prime is not gonna be a masterpiece is because he pretty much had buster prime(more film accurate paint)

but the odd thing the masterpiece Starscream still got his color wrong....I mean the F-22 isn't a light tan color. It is actually like a dull silver(Hasbro version got it right just take off the tattoos) :CON:

STARSCREAMS SOO CUTE ^-^

I posted this last Monday

Still though, I'm loving this paintjob as much as I'm loving the tattooed one. Gonna try to grab both so I can say that the untattooed one is from the first movie. :P :CON:
