That timeslot... I'm not sure I can say my true feelings on it and stay within the TOS, because there's some very salty language that comes to mind with a 6:30 AM timeslot. A lot of four-letter words, there. But...
They're not even giving it a chance. Good ()(*&^%$$#$%^&*() lord this is classic CN behavior.

That is why I called it pathetic. It is a Terrible Death Sentence of a Slot and they would of been better off staying on the Former Hub / Discovery Family.

Jesus. I mean, I don't have high hopes for this series to begin with, but that timeslot just seems unfair.

Did we really expect anything less from Cartoon Network? We ought to have anticipated this kind of treatment ever since CN was announced as being the show's new home.
But on a different yet related note, March 14th?! Are you kidding me?! By that point the show will have already aired in China, France, Australia, the UK, and Germany. The very country that made the show won't even get it until after so much of the rest of the world will. Thanks a lot, CN!

The way they see it, the fans who want to watch it will just record it. Everyone else would just watch something else.

Wow, they're not even pretending to give this one a chance, are they? I'd hope they at least rerun it later in the day, but somehow I suspect that's too much to ask for.

Well, I didn't know what network it was premiering on. But it being on CN tanks any/all expectations I may or may not have had about it.
It sucks. It friggin' sucks. It *insert swear words here* sucks.

TRANSFORMERS: Robots in Disguise Special Primetime Premiere Airs Saturday, March 14 on Cartoon Network
Bumblebee Takes the Spotlight in an All-New Animated Series from Hasbro Studios
Cartoon Network will unleash TRANSFORMERS: Robots in Disguise on Saturday, March 14 at 6 p.m. (ET/PT) with a special one-hour premiere event. The latest installment in the iconic franchise features an all new animation style, and builds upon the lore of the iconic Transformers franchise filled with great humor and lots of fun adventure for fans of all ages.

The new series begins as Bumblebee must step up to be a leader in the years after we left the Autobots in Transformers Prime. Summoned by Optimus Prime to save Earth from a new Decepticon threat, Bumblebee puts his light-hearted mettle to the test after assembling a rogue team of young Autobot action heroes. Bumblebee must balance his job fighting off evil with being equal parts squad leader and coach to a rascally band that needs constant coaxing to learn how to work together. The results are comical when the cool rebel Sideswipe, elite guard cadet Strongarm, bombastic dinobot Grimlock and overly-excited mini-con Fixit must balance keeping the team together with chasing and capturing their new enemies in every episode packed full of action, fun and adventure.
Following the premiere event, new episodes can be seen every Saturday starting on March 21st at 6:30 a.m. ET/PT.

Man, that timeslot sucks. It's the same time they gave Transformers Animated, and look how that turned out!

I don't understand why they moved it from the Hub/Discovery Kids. Seems like a really dumb move, to be blunt.

It's because Cartoon Network is more accessible to a wider amount of viewers. More kids watch CN than the Hub, so Hasbro Studios wanted the show on a channel that more kids (especially boys) watch. It's all due to exposure.Seibertron wrote:Metro Prime wrote:Man, that timeslot sucks. It's the same time they gave Transformers Animated, and look how that turned out!

Doesn't a horrible timeslot mean they won't get that exposure?

On the, honestly kinda depressing side, the average ratings for 6:30 am time slot on Cartoon Network is still 850,000 viewers.
Which is STILL better than The Hub's top new episode premiere ratings which averaged 650,000. CN's death timeslot is still better than The Hub's best was.

I'm going to choose to ignore the sad fact this show is officially in for a sad, depressing death now, and ask what's really bothering me.
The Candy Land Movie is still actually happening?
