Seibertron.com member Real Devastator has just posted some release date information for the combiner team for Singapore and Taiwan. Here's what he had to share:
Toys R US Singapore posted the date of release for Supreme devastator on 27th July 09
http://www.toysrus.com.sg/inside/TF2-landing.htm
Toys R US Taiwan - Sup Devy on sale on 26th July 09
http://www.toysrus.com.tw/pop.php?prodId=2534
This could mean that we'll see a release of the figure in late July or early August of 2009. We'll keep you posted on the details as they become available.
More Bots. More News. More Awesome.

We got him in stock at Argos Worthing, but the catalogue number hasn't been released yet so you can expect to see him available in Argos's all over England when the new catalogue comes out later this month. With any luck.
He looks effing good too. The size and the detail look great, and certainly make up for the lack of separate robot modes. His light & sound gimmick is also very amusing (and pokeable through the packaging, much to my delight), especially his announcement of "I. Am. DEV. VEY. STATOOOOR".

I'm undecided about this guy- not whether or not to get him, but when. I'm sure he won't sell well, so he'll likely be around a long time and eventually clearanced, or perhaps one of the big toy retailers will put him on sale very shortly to jumpstart sales (pleasepleaseplease), as we've seen with other figs in the line. I've got a bunch of debit card reward points to cash in, I could get as much as a $50 TRU card towards him. Gotta think.

Canada is not expected to get them until October at TRU. Wallyworld will more than likely get them in sooner. Will get him just for the sheer size!

I hope it doesn't come that soon. Cuz I've gotta keep saving up for other figures that are already out. The waves of figures for this toyline are coming out too quickly.

Yeah, dude you definately should put up a review and stuff on here cuz the only reason I haven't pre-ordered it is because (1.) my wife and I are slightly worried it'll be not as big as expected and (2.) it won't be very well detailed...I mean, I'm looking to expect a Devastator bigger than my baby!

My mistake, according to the website they're available now XD
But we don't have him in the in-store laminated catalogues yet, so make sure you take the number off the internet before you go searching you're local stores!
And also, awesome, I helped provide info for a news article

The catalogue number is 087/4980 and the stock for your local store can be checked on both the UK and IRL websites.

I don't plan on getting him.
My brother, he's already planned on having him battle Stratosphere.

What!!! No wrecking balls? Or a little Simmons figure to place under them? Booooo
Seriously though, I thought this figure would be larger honestly. It seemed to be larger from the photos this board obtained from this years Toy Fair. For $100 this seems very overpriced. Yet another marketer at work no doubt. God I hate marketing people. The only thing I found entertaining about this figure was the fact it had a scooper for his bum. But compared to the Prime Leader Class it's alot smaller then I would expect. Hell I've seen Power Ranger Zords bigger then this in terms of toys and for alot cheeper too.
For me you have:
1.Overpriced goods
2.Hyped size
3.It's doesn't combine from the constructicons themselves
4.Very limited articulation
Nah....I'm good. I'm sure I'll find this thing in a garage sale someday in which I can re-work it as a prop for a film or maybe just rework it all together to make it actually look like Devastator. Till then I'll spend my $100 on the original vehicle Voltron instead of his distant cousin.
Sigh........At least Leader Class Prime is awesome!!!! Two swords! You just can't beat that

Everybody keeps complaining about Supreme Devastator's price and that they don't transform. If memory serves me correctly they didn't transform just combined. The Constructicons that did transform got there a&%es kicked by the Autobots.
Here's a spending figure on the Constructicons that do transform:
Currently 3 Voyagers (Mixmaster, Demolisher, Long Haul) @ $22 each = $66; and Deluxe Rampage $12 ($88 I've already spent).
Now if they make a transforming Scrapper, High Tower, Overload they would add another $36 (deluxes) to $66 (Voyagers).
Add that all up, price ranges from $114 to $144 depending on what "class" Hasbro makes them; more if you want to buy the G1 color Constructicon variants too.
So either way we're all going to spend about the same getting whatever version of these robots are accurate.
I'm considering the transforming EZ Collection/Legend Devastator if it gets released in the US.
BTW, I'll add balls to whatever version I buy, just need 2 round fishing sinkers.

I was wondering, according to argos website there is not a leader class assortment - have you been getting jetfire in yet?

In every series we sell each leader separately, we have Optimus and supposedly Megatron somewhere in the stockroom, though I haven't seen him and they're both under different catalogue numbers.
As I said before we're getting a new catalogue in around the 23rd so Jetfire should be in there, but don't quote me on that.
