Probably trying to bring it closer to both the IDW Drift and RiD Drift in that he now has a warmer red colour rather than a cold blue.

Cybertronians must really like Mercedes cars. This is the fourth movie bot to turn into one.

AOE Drift was originally going to be orange and black, but they had to go with blue and black, due to the fact they couldn't find enough orange and black Bugatti's for filming.
Glad to see they finally got their wish.

I guess that also explains why RiD Drift is orange and black rather than the AoE blue or IDW white and red.

Two questions here. Will he retain his triple changer ability? Will they acknowledge the change in alt modes or ignore it. Most likely the latter.

I hope not, he'll just get a re-colored aoe helicopter release; if they wanted to, they should have upgraded him into a gen springer-style design, then they could re-shell that amazing figure and we could all be happy, but that's clearly not happening with this film

The culture of the characters? The culture of the characters is Cybertronian. Drift has no heritage or culture in Japan aside from the fact that he takes a liking to the culture. That's like saying an American person obsessed with Japanese culture is only ever allowed to wear clothes produced in Japan. That's the stupidest thing ever.

Plus Epps was like one of the best humans in the films like seriously it's not like you have to be a popular actor to have a good role I mean look at the new Star Wars movies and it's main actors that weren't returning character.
