I'm glad in this case that the Headmaster gimmick is so widespread. That head is just, damn. Too happy or bloated or something? Guess what I'm getting at is there's bound to be a decent alternative at some point to swap that out with, whether from Takara or one of the individual Titanmasters.

I like it for the reasons Delta doesn't. Like the clear cassette door, and the really OG toy head sculpt. Lots of retooling going on with the legs, and new feet. Different enough to have both he and Blaster for me!
I wonder how different his Base Mode will look?

I suppose giant legs are better than a giant abdomen. *coughTitaniumcough*

The Classics-style Soundwave we've all been aching for though slightly oversized? Or the surrogate MP Soundwave that'll save me $300?
Either way, with me only having like three problems with him (the visor being to wide [kind of looking like surprise], it's color [gettin' real tired of your yellow-visored Soundwaves, Hasbro], and the weapon [y u no battery???]), I'm really digging it. I assume it's safe to say Sound-Dave here will be one of the Toy Fair reveals, then?

Eyes are too wide. Looks like he caught Starscream undressing or something.
At least he has two guns, unlike the FOC version.

That... turned out a lot differently than I thought.
My first thought was "fan custom" since the head's all weird. Soundwave typically has a very narrow eye-band and his helmet IS the angular chevrons; this one's got a huuuuge visor and the chevrons are looking tacked onto a rounded helmet.

I like this, though the visor thing I only noticed once someone had mentioned it. Also is a yellow visor that off putting? I know it was red in the cartoon but that's not a deal breaker to me.
I wonder...can you link blasters base mode to soundwaves base mode? I like the idea of the pair of them owning competing nightclubs that are right next to each other.

Yes, they (should) all use a similar clip system (seen on o/p's inner leg) so you should be able to link all of the base mode figures together, hope they show this off at the toy fair...

Aside from the elongated head, it looks pretty good.

Yellow visor win!! Always always prefer the yellow visor.
Still a little... Oddly shaped. Not a fan of this massive headmaster nonsense, though.

Probably due to the helmet; unlike blaster, who had the visor attached to the helmet, soundwaves appears to be molded in his headmaster, thus leading to a bit of strange proportions

Blurr I can handle, Soundave I cannot. He looks like he just saw something that made his tape deck skip..

That thing looks like someone took apart a G1 Soundwave toy, then gave it modern articulation and gimmicks. I love it.

And hot on the heels of the official reveal on social media, we also have digital renderings of Titans Return Leader class Soundwave, in robot, base, boombox modes, plus his tiny Headmaster Titan Master self operating the base, and some artwork (probably based on Emiliano Santalucia's design work). Check it all out mirrored below!

They could possible, if they could move the part of the vehicle where the gun is back over the rest of the side and stick a pair of wings on it.

There's a few details there that don't exactly scream Blurr, but then again they're probably going to re-use this someone along the line.
The rumour is they will reuse this for Brainstorm. I dont see how that is happening, but that's what the transmissions podcast said.
