Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Exclusive Ratchet Out at Canadian Retail

While the figure's release was scheduled for September 1st in Canada, EB Games got their stock a few days early and have filled out preorders for those who ordered in stores (including a preorder for your fellow news editor). Since EB Games is the only store in Canada getting these, they have a lot to spare and have stocked their shelves. You can see that below in an image coming from a sighting in Montreal, Canada.
Of course, this may give Americans the need to drop by their nearest Walgreens to see if they received them. However, as we know by now that would be a waste of time. The US will only begetting these once fall starts and Walgreens does a Holiday restock.

One interesting thing to note, now that I have the toy, is that the medical bay mode truly is an official mode with most of the instructions sheet dedicated to it.

The price in Canada is $29.99 but $26.99 for platinum card holders.

Well, here's hoping he ends up on Walgreens site. I have yet to see a Walgreens exclusive at the store

Thanks to Seibertronian Microbot and the Playhouse Toy Photography Facebook page, we have news of some brand new in-hand images of the upcoming Transformers War for Cybertron Siege Omega Supreme! These new images give us a fantastic look at Omega, including his alternate mode, his robot mode, his individual rocket, Countdown, and even some Titan/Prime Master interaction! Omega is looking really dang cool in these new shots, and he shows that he has a lot of playability with the Micromasters of this line and the Masters of previous lines. He also shows that he is no slouch with regards to weapons, with an impressive arsenal of torso mounted weapons in addition to his rocket hands.

Omega Supreme is due out in the next 2 months following his delay from this Summer, and will retail for $159.99.

Check out all the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

I wish someone could do a review of this Omega with the tank from the original G1 Omega to see if it could fit on these new tracks. Because if it did fit, it would be my saving grace to justify getting this one. If I could replace this non functioning tank with my G1 version which can actually move around the tracks and continuously rotate it's turrent and patrol, then that combined with Siege Omega's beautifuly detailed and articulated robot mode AND much bigger size makes this a must have.

Were you a fan of the stop-motion videos that Hasbro Taiwan put out earlier this year, featuring the War for Cybertron: Siege line? Here's another gem from the official YouTube account of the Transformers brand, showcasing Optimus Prime, Hound, and especially, Six Gun, as a Weaponizer, combining with Optimus.

While these do showcase figures that have been out for some time, the video is beautifully done, with great animation and awesome 80s laser sound effects.

Would you like to see more of this style of animation to advertise the figures and play systems, or do you just think they're fun videos? Let us know below!

The Siege Reconnaissance Refraktor three pack with toy inspired colours is not an online exclusive after all. It has been found in Toysrus Canada for $99.99 CAD. This is ahead of the anticipated 4th quarter release at online vendors. It is unknown if that means it will also be found at a store in the US. It is also unknown if it will be found across Canada since this toy does not have any other language rather than English on the box. That is typical of show exclusive toys and Refraktor was initially made to be a Hascon exclusive. The set was found by Ultra Macnus over at Cybertron.ca.

If anyone finds this toy in stores, be sure to report your sighting in the sightings forum and section.

While I'll likely be getting Omega Supreme, I have to say - that 'road' doesn't scale very well. Especially with that tank. The track is so proportionally small, it makes it look like the tank is on some kind of kiddie ride at the playground. Even for a Titan Master or Micromaster, it would barely be a short jog.

Once again, Quebec just have to eat a giant sack of floppy dicks. Typical from Toys R Us. They could just apply a damn sticker with French on the exclusives to satisfy the law but nooooo, it's too much efforts.

Maybe I'll be able to find the normal Refraktors at TrU next spring, when they FINALLY come out in Canada.

I bought mine on ages3and up when I thought they were only going to be online. So it turns out that was still a smart move.

I was too slow on the uptake and missed out. :BANG_HEAD:

Now my only hope is for the normal ones to come here.
FFS, we are LATE as hell for every single regular transformers... Except Cyberverse... For reasons.

Brick-and-Mortar? Only two choices there >:oP

Regular RefraktorReflector is easy to find my area, but... Does the regular one resemble any kind of camera, without the extra bits?

You sure about that? Bumblebee Movie Retro Highway vol 2 pack, POTP Wreckgar and the Gold Battle Ops BB were not found in stores in the US?

The US has more retail options than Canada for store exclusives and yet, we got ours in store. So you never know.

Now that you mention the Retro Pop Highway set, the third candidate for an item of that size may be GameStop. Costco and Sam's Club have stopped carrying exclusives and Walgreens' limit is Deluxe.

All I meant to say was, the US has options, they just have to use them.
Canada has options too, even though they may be weird. Did you know the earlier Cyberbattalian figures were Canadian Tire exclusives? So was that DOTM leader Bumblebee rerelease we got a few years back.

It's a great video but this isn't stop motion. You can tell that by the way Hound's foot is positioned when he's taking cover, as it's bent is a way that the toy simply cannot do. As well as the lighting on Sideswipe as Prime and Six-gun run past him is so clean that I would find it near impossible to replicate in stop motion.

I certainly think so. I'm more excited over the Exclusive version because the G1 figurea were some of my first G1, Ebay'd during my "Roleplay Figure" kick, byt before we knew about the exclusive set I was VERY happy with the retail relwase. And I woulda been happy with the exclusive set even withoutbthe extra bits.

Thanks to Kevin Liu on YouTube we have a video review for the Transformers War for Cybertron Fan Vote 3 pack! The set includes Decepticon Impactor, Holo Mirage, and the Powerdasher Aragon. Decepticon Impactor has a different head mold than the main retail Autobot version release of the figure. The Decepticon version is much closer to the look the character had during his years in the IDW-verse whereas the Autobot version has a head sculpt which is very much stylized after his original UK G1 comics appearance. Holo Mirage is, well, not quite a hologram but is named such officially just the same. This is a translucent version of the main retail release of Mirage, this one with a different head sculpt which is much closer in likeness to his original G1 toy. Then, making multiple fans smile for the pure curveball deep cut from Transformers history and oddball nature of the character is Powerdasher Aragon. The Powerdashers were pull back and go motorized mailaway special offers from the early run of the G1 toys. This time around Aragon is a redux of Cog with a new head and paint job.
