The Japanese version of Transformers Prime (same series as Hasbro's Robot In Disguise) features "Arm Micron", where the weapons are able to transform into mini robots.
AM-01 to AM-06 are schedule to be released in the month of March 2012.

It's pretty wacky how that Deluxe-sized Megatron looks just as big as that Voyager-sized Optimus in this ad:
Bluescreen or forced perspective? (I'm pretty certain that TakaraTomy didn't upsize the Deluxe Megatron mold, though I'd be pretty happy if they did.)

The arms microns are really cool, but I'm outright LOVING Takara's Megatron. If that's a downgrade in paint, then they chose some kick ass plastics.

As I said above, I assume it has not been upsized from a Deluxe.

That isn't the RID Voyager Megatron mold, it's the Deluxe Megatron, the same mold they released singly as a deluxe already and that came in the Hasbro entertainment pack.Requiem Prime wrote:but I'm outright LOVING Takara's Megatron. Wow. And I complain about the length of our commercial breaks.
Don't forget, the First Edition figures are bigger than RiD in general and the new Optimus is quite a small voyager. And he had his knees bent in this vid.

Aright as usual it seems the

...real tough guys. Those big ass ports on Ratchet are a freakin' eye sore. I'd pick him up if it weren't for that mess and Skywarp though he is awesome looking he's got the lamest targetmaster...a giant ninja star.

Is it the same paint scheme as the Takara First Edition version?
Or exactly the same as the entertainment pack? The FE was a nice shiny one wasn't it.

lol. Gotta love all the cheesy sound/video effects too.
One thing this really does show is how cheap the added stickers actually look compared to paint. I didn't think the cost-cutting would hit Takara so hard, but it appears it is. Not really worth the import price, IMO.

That's the deluxe Megatron. And from what I see there's barely any paint changes and no there's no upsizing. The reason why those two look like the same size is because of two reason :-
1) Optimus knee is bended. That mean his original height is reduced.
2) Megs body is bended backward giving the illusion that he's bigger. It's kinda weird how they pose him like that lol.
But wow seriously!? 6 minutes commercial O.O!? Damn if it were me I would change the channel every single time this commercial appeared lol xD.

The TakaraTomy YouTube channel has uploaded another commercial for their upcoming Transformers Prime Arms Micron toy line. This one, at a mere 16 seconds, isn't nearly as long as the previous commercial, but awesome none the less. We also a quick look at the Arms Micron Bulkhead and Arcee figures. Check it out below.

how can they be serious about a fight between prime and megatron when prime is a voyager and megatron is a deluxe?.. that's a little stupid if you ask me. they should've released a voyager megatron. they could've done wonders with that thing. oh well.
that aside.. i love the commercial. hasbro should do this type of stuff. transformers are PERFECT for stop motion videos. they should hire patrick boivin to do their toy commercials.
