So what is the actual Prime figure? The ROTF leader figure, a new mold?

It's a new mold. Without the armor, he is nowhere near as detailed as the ROTF Leader Prime.

Man $89 is alot to pay for a butterfly winged prime.. This'll ride the shelf for awhile, that price will keep alot of folks away...

That thing is so atrocious. If the price doesn't drop like the 25th G1 prime i will be surprised. He was supposed to be $70 and I remember finding it for under $30 at JC Penny. The pic makes him look anorexic.

i am soooooooooooooooooo not geting this just for a prime with a trailer seoreously hasbro we what 25 years for a prime with a trailer and this is what you come up with the kre-o lego op is proberly better than this now i have to spend $80.00 for the takara voyagar one and while i am at it i will buy ROTF leader class optimus prime come on hasbro make a better op beacause barly anyone is going to buy butter fl...i mean ultimate optimus prime at that price!

The saddest thing is that $89 is regular retail for Leaders here in Australia... And our dollar is worth more!

I will get him, I allready own Buster Prime second version so I won't need the Wing Minigun abbs Takara Prime. And I actually like a simple transformation Leader Prime. Hopefully we'll get Leader Megatron and Leader Shockwave as well. I think it's a bit odd they start with voyager sized "main" characters.

I can't like this thing, no matter how much I try.
I don't mind the vehicle mode and I really like the Mechtech weapon, but the robot modes are just trash to me.
If Jetwing Optimus comes here, or the import goes on sale for a reasonable price, I might bite. This just doesn't do it for me, and until something changes...the Cyberverse trailer n' fig will have to do. (Not a complaint, mind you. A really nice figure set for $15.00...)
Would importing help keep the costs low? If so, I'm sure a member would be willing to help you.

6% here in PA. I know some states are even lower. If I remember correctly, Idaho doesn't even have sales tax. We also have no sales tax on clothing or food. Fast food does, but that's because we're paying for the service, not the item.

100% not buying the rotf leader optimus is the greatest movie optimus ever! And i can't afford this the most i've ever payed for a toy is $100 for marvel legends deadpool.

With DOTM Ultimate Optimus Prime being found at retail it's only natural that the reviews would soon follow. The figure carries a high price tag, hopefully these videos will help decide if you want to lay down your hard earned cash on this guy. The first video showcases his robot mode, the second focuses on transformation.
