Fellow Seibertronian PrimeVsPrime sent us a nice e-mail letting us know of their latest review for the ThreeZero Transformers Bumblebee – Bumblebee Premium Scale figure. This is a fully articulated non transforming figure of Bumblebee as he appears in the Bumblebee movie when his alt mode is a Beetle.

Hey Seibertron!
I hope you are well,
I just thought i'd let you know that I uploaded a review for Threezeros latest Premium Scale figure, that being Bumblebee. In the review I also show a comparison between this premium scale figure to the DLX version and thought it may be of interest to you https://youtu.be/MmGmFwCk97o
Kind regards & keep safe!

Looks nice. It's a shame that I don't care for the :michaelbay: Bayformer :michaelbay: characters.

Thanks to ThreeZero themselves on their store, we have a full reveal for the newest addition to their Transformers Premium Series figures: Bumblebee movie Optimus Prime!

As you might recall, we have news that they were preparing to do the full reveal, and the full figure itself does not disappoint. This impressive action figure stands 19 inches tall, the same height as Combiner Wars Devastator pretty much, and features a mind boggling 140 points of articulation. He also features insane detailing like we have come to expect from our live action heroes, as well as some LED light up effects.

He is expected to hit stores next June in 2021, and is retailing for around $500 USD. Check out some images of the impressive beast below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

Do you like your Transformers Siege Optimus Prime? But do you sometimes with it didn't transform? Well, Threezero has just the thing for you. Introducing new DLX Siege Optimus Prime. It looks just like Siege Optimus, kibble and all, and with awesome poseability and an amazing deco. But of course, does not transform. This toy was revealed by Threezero themsevles and it should be up for preorder on their web site July 24th. The price should be around the $200 mark as that is the price of their previous DLX Optimus Prime releases.

just... just paint the seige figure for like $6. and keep it's ability to transform. i get high-end action figures for Tarn and the like, but when you're LITERALLY just taking the design of an already existing figure, what is even the point?

This reveal makes no sense. It's a highly posable action figure of the siege cartoon figure, who is itself based on the CAD of the siege toy. so basically, a non-transforming Siege Prime with an ab crunch and interchangeable hands.

weird

You got it right though, this is based on the character we see in the media, as they did with their other Optimus Primes, all based on how they appear onscreen down to the very detail. It just so happens that this time around, the media was based directly on a toy.

So yeah, it becomes beyond redundant, but at least we can get the pattern they are going for in their releases.

As I wrote above, they maybe don't even know a transforming figure is out there. To them they are taking the design of an onscreen character model.

Haha, glad you liked that bit. I was trying to do one of those Big Pappy Sponsorship jokes we see on SNL

For all the people complaining about this Siege Prime, it wasn't made for you. This was made for the same people that buy $400 action figures regularly, people that don't care about alt modes, people that don't "play" with their toys, people that just want a cool looking figure for their $5,000 shelving wall. If you bought the original Voyager figure then you're probably not that person.

I'd rather it look like it's certainly worth the money (like the 3A DOTM Optimus or the Bumblebee movie version) than have a figure that's basically the same but bigger, has the transformation pieces glued shut, has some added details, and adds a few more points of articulation here and there.

And you still wouldn't have as nice looking a figure as this. ;)^

Well this is disappointing.

They really hit Bumblebee Movie characters out of the park - DLX Bumblebee, Blitzwing, and Optimus are all fantastic. I'm sure this will be very nice, but still...

Branching out to other corners of the Transformers universe feels like a waste of effort when Dropkick and Shatter desperately need some love in the DLX line to round out the Bumblebee cast.

Another oversized Voyager Class figure that doesn't transform but does have a removable backpack for when Megatron's back from school. Does that thing have any school supplies or spray cans? I wonder if ThreeZero Ultra Magnus will come with a carrying bag for his cloak, or if Starscream will come with the ability to take his wings off and hold them like oversized paper fans.

Now THAT's how you do waist articulation for robots instead of the weird & distracting flexing waist/abs in the Netflix animated show.

I don't understand the point of these? A non-transforming figure that looks EXACTlY like their transforming Siege figure. Megatron even has the fake rolling wheels on his legs. Usually isn't it the other way around? A transforming robot making exceptions to fictional characters design on the page or screen. Just an odd choice all around from the Netflix show to these figures. I have enjoyed the entire Siege line but I don't want to see toys recreated as the same toys on screen. This is where you use your imagination to transform and give life to the figures etc., that's why 80's toys were and are still are adored by many fans!!
