Video Review of New Robots in Disguise Combiner Force One Step Bumblebee

I saw somewhere on Twitter that the combiner sets are to be sold at the $29.99 price point, so the size works out, along with the simplicity. Really excited for these sets!

Sorry if I missed it, but did we get any info on the size of the combiners?

Considering the Crash combiners about deluxe size, the 4/5 bot combiners appear to be about voyager height, but very bulky

By "Deluxe" do you mean Legends/Scout?

Edit: I see what you are saying. Combined the Crashers are deluxe size. I see it now.

More like 'deluxe height'. Primestrong is about the height of my other deluxes present

Roughly voyager size. You can see them next to the activators, which are deluxe sized bots:

The trick to these is to keep expectations low, hope for the best, and except them for what they are. Primestrong is neat and fun, but I still think the price point is to high for what you get.

Will, I love how that Motormaster truck makes for such broad shoulders on Menasor. Wide, silver, and mean!

Do you guys think the samples shown are hand painted? They appear to have some nice apps. Hope the production runs look that good.

Given the sheer amount of hand-painting at the show, I'd be unable to say either way for these figures specifically. Maybe megatronus or Seibertron will have a better idea.

I wish they would look that good as the retail releases. that silver on Motormaster/Menasor is incredibly nice

So I suppose these dudes would best scale with Legions?

I know I know it's not all about scale lol, I'm just wondering how Ultrabee would look together with say, Legion Windblade and Ratchet and the scout-sized Mini-con pack thing Optimus

Just curious, has the Combiner Force One-Step Blurr been sighted in US Retail by anyone else yet? 'Cause I kinda found one and I didn't expect them to be on shelves yet.

Yup, that wave has been found. We are currently lookign for sightings of the warrior wave with Soundwave.

RiD figures need more paint apps. I feel like I have been saying this since the first wave of toys though.

I suppose reprolables can help. I only have 2 figs I wanna label up so I'll wait till I decide on more to make shipping worth it.

Did anyone else notice the arms and legs of Menasor are actually the same mold each with different robot parts, much like Galvatronus?

I just wonder if there's gonna be another Autobot combiner. They seem to be introducing new Autobots quickly enough...

I think the toy sword is Drift in its sword mode. Logistically they probably couldn't do a transforming Drift who could go from car to robot then the sword.

A quick look tells me the new Sideswipe is Wave 2.

I don't see anything special about the design of the sword, really. Besides, wasn't Drift more of an ally, rather than a permanent member of Team Bumblebee?

It's more noticeable on that clip of the show version of Ultra Bee that was released yesterday. The sword on his back has black and orange coloring, just like Drift.

It could very easily just be a show-original idea that wasn't the original intent for the toy's weapon, but yeah, here you go.

Methinks someone hasn't seen episodes 17-45 yet.

Better late than never. We finally have official images of the Legion and Warrior Robots in Diguise toys unveiled at the 2017 New York Toy Fair.
Most were found on the show floor but we do have a never before seen figure of Legion Heatseeker, who is a component of Menasor. Some have already been seen before, but never the less, below you will see images for the following figures:

Legion
-Heatseeker
-Starscream
-Cyclonus
-Blurr

Warrior
-Thermidore
-Windblade (masked version)

That legion Heatseeker looks pretty sweet. Dang the cons have been nailing it with this line!

Windblade looks like a dude with a mountain-man beard and mustache. I'd say, she'd give AOE Hound a run for his money.

The colors for the mouth guard may have been poorly chosen. My Blastwave needs a companion, but which of the two Windblades?

If they make a larger figure of Heatseeker, I might just have to get him... that eyepatch thing is awesome.

If we're counting the classic Gobots, yes. But if we include the Rock Lords, Brimstone and Boulder are more recent reuses. I wouldn't look too much into that though, it may merely be coincidence with the design team unaware of Gobots, especially in the case of Boulder.

I bet they wouldn't remould the head, chest and crotch on a Legends repaint if they did make one. What with being an SUV and having a fake eye he looks rather like Silas Breakdown.

I think thats the closest we will ever get Blurr and Cyclonus to G1 on Legion Class... not bad, perhaps I expected more G1 looking like ( I am not big fan of the current generation )
