They look awesome, but why are we paying $60 for this?

I anticipate with Ravage's fragility that I'll transform him once and leave him displayed as Jaguar, with Laserbeak on Soundwave's arm, the other three stored in the chest.

I also anticipate there'll be a lot of Rumbles Frenzies Decepticon Rumbles!Decepticon Frenzies!FIBRIR! red robots being sold on the secondary market.

I was a tad bit disappointed in MP Ravage when I saw the first "in-hand" non-promotional pics. I still am, considering that the USB Ravage makes a damned fine Masterpiece Ravage in jaguar mode, has a movable jaw and probably more poseability than the MP version. But the USB (Device Label) Ravage is missing the hip rockets, and has a long tail that needs to be hinged. But all things considered, he's pretty awesome, still.

MP Ravage won some points when I saw that video though. His drawbacks are his size (I feel he ends up looking too small, as the hip rockets take up a good portion of his mass) and his jaw isn't articulated like the Device Label one, and I feel like they could've made his jaw hinged considering that Laserbeak has a tiny fucking camera that pops out of his head. But that transformation is pretty damned clever. Maybe more creative than Laserbeak.

Cool figures but MAN the review is way too long. Takes too long to show and explain things.

I think however he made a mistake, aren't the barrels used not as batteries but as cable that connects soundwave in cassette mode to the monitor in Transformers the movie 6 min and 28 seconds into the movie?

Interesting catch. I wonder if they can be connected end to end?

Another thing I thought of, why does Laserbeak get his own card but Ravage & Rumble share one? Throwback to G1?

$60.00 is likely the import/retailer fee. They're probably closer to $20-30.00 in Japan.

Oh. You're one of 'those' people. :P

Anyways. What do you think our chances are of getting Soundblaster with Ratbat? I'd like to see a Masterpiece Ratbat. I'd LOVE to see a Masterpiece Slugfest and Overkill. Those two never get any love.

I'm actually quite impressed with Ravage. Looks great compared to a couple of earlier shots that were released.
