VIDEO REVIEW OF TRANSFORMERS ROBOTS IN DISGUISE DEPLOYERS FRACTURE AND AIRAZOR

Posted by william-james88 Jul 3, 2015 at 2:07am CDT 19,477 views
Here is another video review coming our way from chuckdawg1999. It is the first review we were made aware of for Deployers Fractor and Airazor.

Here is what Chuck had to say about the figure:

Fracture is a nice shade of Decepticon purple, and that's really the only nice thing I can say about this toy. Keeping in mind that it's intended for children I'm concerned about how long it would take the average child to break a figure made from such flimsy plastic, with a play feature that has a tendency to jam. Airazor looks good but is a static brick making its clear parts somewhat useless. Collectors move along, nothing to see here.

Enjoy!

God bless you Chuck for buying this crap so nobody else has to. I am shocked this was actually produced.

How come one step Fracture is his earth motorcycle mode.....but yet his Minicon Deployer is his Cybertronian form?

Same goes for Drift.

I saw the minicons for the first time today and they look great, if like bricks. I want some but I don't like the 7.99CAD price tag. Maybe on discount.

When literally every part is sculpted differently in some way, you're not in re-tool territory anymore. Shared transformation concept, but no enlarged "shared" parts from what I can tell.

They're Buck brothers.

I can tell you that Drift is markedly better, but that's not saying much.

Check out what Downshift found at Toysrus: the exclusive Clash of the Transformers Warrior Class figures:

I might get that optimus if it goes on sale. That sideswipe looks horrid though.

Man, they look nothing like they did in the show. Sideswipe's close, but not enough.

And where's Strongarm? She was involved in this too!

For me Sideswipe looks the best, then I remember how bad that mold is. I like how Prime looks but not enough to justify a 3rd version of that mold.

Is there not going to be a Strongarm upgrade?

There wont be. They already listed all the updates we will be getting as part of the clash of the TF line: http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/megatronus-alt-mode-revealed-and-more-possible-robots-in-disguise-product-releases/32801/

Oh slag, I just realized that the app game pic of Warrior Megatronus has his goofy-looking battle mask over his face. They better not do that for the toy itself.

Takara seems to just be doing straight releases of the Hasbro versions, USA Edition style, rather than making their own releases.

Though, in all honesty, I kinda question if a mere two episodes really deserve their own subline imprint.

Those clash guys look nice. They could have done better with Bee but otherwise they look good :BOT:

They could have done better with all of them since none of them are remolded to be armored up like they were in the show. >:oP

After Hasbro Transformers: Robots in Disguise Deployer Fracture, fellow Seibertronian chuckdawg1999 offers us a video review of the category companion to the purple bike-con: Drift, along with mini-con Jetstorm! Check out below the embedded clip, and chuck's thoughts.

Rejoice, Drift is better than Fracture! Unfortunately the limitations that Fracture had in terms of articulation are still present on Drift but the whole Deployer gimmick works much more smoothly. Jetstorm looks cool but not cool enough to cover the brick nature of the mold. I can see the bipedal Autobot Deployers getting stale rather quickly. If you want to experience the gimmick then by all means buy Drift but the Deployers aren't a necessary addition to any collection.

I think McDonald's is gonna sue somebody...this screams Happy Meal toy all the way. These will surely be clogging the pegs at my local TRU soon. Walmart, Target, and Kmart are currently dried up of anything new in my area. I see this and his pal Fracture hitting TRU soon. Curse you Hasblow...Why even bother with this crap when there are so many characters and new molds that could and should have been developed for CW. CW is the best TF line to come out since the introduction of Generations...before that Classics held the title. I wouldn't give this piece of slag to a kid if I got it for free. =; :BANG_HEAD:
