Yup, and they have a brand new, hassle free website! Before, I was stuck googling what I needed. Now, I can just search the site iteself in a very NORMAL and convenient way. I just hope some older pictures get updated.

Anyway, I so bought the upgrade labels for Leader Megatron. Sure, 21$CAN shipped is really expensive, but this will give me the Megatron I truly wanted!

Ordered! As well as the set for CW voyager Optimus and finally Generations Metroplex! Woohoo free holo-labels!! The site was running pretty slow, I received the confirmation from PayPal but not the order finalization on the site itself..

EDIT: Just got the confirm from ToyHax. Awesomeness will be arriving someday soon hopefully!

EDIT 2: Just got one that says cancelled? Do what now? Researching..

EDIT 3: Apparently during the slowness the ordered duplicated and they cancelled the duplicate. Nice :)

This CW G1 Megatron toy is becoming hard to buy. Had it in my internet site cart then during check out, it sold out. This is the Second time this has happened to me. :-(

Last week was able to buy the CW Armada Megatron on a site. Should receive the toy in a day or Two. ;)

I must say, Reprolabels works FAST. It's amazing how quickly they can turn around such complete and versatile sticker sheet upgrades for figures that have just come out in the past few months. The upgrades for CW Optimus and now Megatron are particularly impressive. I'm very tempted to finally take the plunge and purchase a few of these.

I think Hasbro is missing out by not taking advantage of this customization niche with collectors. Maybe they could offer packs of sticker sheets for order for various current assortments of products, akin to the promotion they did recently in Singapore (I think) with the G1-theme stickers for the new CW Aerialbots and Stunticons?

I don't think it would be profitable for Hasbro. In order to make a profit, they must sell MASSIVE volume of the thing. They also need to make the price affordable for mom because no casual in their right mind would buy a sticker sheet that cost almost the same price as the figure itself. The only thing they could do is to include a sticker sheet with the toy. They already did it all the time with G1 and they did recently with some Generations figure.

I love Repros, but they are damn expensive so I upgrade just the few figures I really want to do. I ordered the "G1" Leader Megatron set because it's what I planned to from the start. Grand total, this Megatron will cost me 95$, taxes and Reprolabels included. Will it be worth that much money? I expect yes. Now, if only the Repros would come to me quicker...

I picked up the CW Optimus and Megatron sets, the first sets I've actually purchased! I also ordered the Metroplex set with them, so I'm pretty excited. It would be nice if Hasbro released the pack-in/extra stickers here (like the big set they did with Metroplex), and it would probably be limited to online smaller retailers (BBTS, TFSource, ChosenPrime, etc) which wouldn't be a bad thing. I would think that they could get with the company to produce a few hundred more sets for not too much of an expense?

Combiner Wars Leader Class Thundercracker is an extensive retooling of the Jetfire mold (you can see the original here, in our galleries) and is currently available in Asia, soon to be released in the States this Summer season. Until then, this in hand gallery should help tide you over while you wait, albeit impatiently.

Thanks to fellow fan, Tagoal, we have a few images mirrored here, below, and you can click on any of the images to see the full listing of images of this figure and the comparison to Jetfire. One thing you might notice is that they retained the clips for the Jetfire fastpack, odd isn't it? (Hopefully it'll lead to a cool G2 redeco with soundbox attachment. Well, one can dream, can't they?)

Damn, it's the fake cockpit from hell !

With Jetfire you can give it a free pass since it's supposed to be Skyfire in robot mode. But putting that lazy gimmick on seekers is an insult to the characters.

Meh, everybots do it. So, why the drama?
Still, I would have prefered a clear fake cockpit like Jetfire's instead of just a painted one.

I'll admit it bugs me to. That sort of thing bugged me all the way back on Powermaster Optimus, and I was 9 when that came out.

I really don't like fake parts. I'm willing to look past it here because A) Thundercracker is one of my favorite Transformer characters and B) I love the Leader Jetfire mold, but it does bother me that they couldn't do a Leader class toy with the actual cockpit for a chest.

IDW Transformers artist Andrew Griffith, regular on current The Transformers ongoing title, has updated his Tumblr with some concept work for the upcoming Generations Combiner Wars Leader Class Ultra Magnus (with Minimus Ambus) figure - specifically, the cockpit design, both inside and outside, and the interaction with Minimus in vehicle mode. Check it out below!

So a while back I got to work a bit on an upcoming Leader class toy version of Ultra Magnus from IDW’s More Than Meets The Eye. Since the toy has been revealed, I got permission from Hasbro to show off some of my art for it.

Just to be clear, the overall design of the toy was already done, based heavily on Nick Roche’s design for the book. What I was asked to do was to sketch up what the interior cockpit could look like within the confines of the space they had available for it. I worked with Hasbro to develop it, and they sent my art along to Takara-Tomy to use for the sculpt for the final product.

The cockpit for Minimus Ambus inside Ultra Magnus functions a bit different than James Roberts and Alex Milne worked out for MTMTE, but personally I think it’s pretty cool that Hasbro took inspiration from the comics and even went to the trouble of using the concept of Minimus “driving” Ambus at all to be pretty darn cool.

I was thrilled to work on this particular project.

I picked him up on sale recently too (I thought I posted a pic here, but it either got lost in the shuffle or I didn't hit "Submit"). The color scheme is really growing on me. The head sculpt is nice too, but I wish the colors were more toy/cartoon accurate.

I find it cool that the Magnus Armor's cockpit is laid out like a battlemech cockpit from the BattleTech universe, with the joystick on the right side, throttle on the left side, and foot pedals (in battlemechs the foot pedals are for turning the machine, or both are pressed down to activate jump jets).

Had to also order a $7 Hero Mashers Jetfire. to save $5 on shipping fees and qualify for free shipping. As $50 orders before tax qualify for free shipping.
