This was not supposed to turn into a Dr. Seuss bit but, well, here we are.
At first you will find Hightower quite dour you see he's sour because instead of a back he has a tower. Teeny little arms so creepy it's true, he combines with his bros into a Devastator stew.
And then here comes Drift flying in from aloft in a retool of Dropkick which most fans found soft. All dressed up in royal blue with swords slashing it's uniformity of color schemes that keeps this samurai from clashing...well, in regards to his wardrobe anyways.
Enough of the rhyming! On with the show! Enjoy the views and share your thoughts with the Seibertron crew in the forums and as always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news!

Hightower is really cool, and so is Drift. Hopefully, we can get a really nice Bugatti Drift as well.

Hightower is 100% a must have. Not just because Devastator, but also because his design is just so bizarre and unique. Plus I’m a sucker for construction vehicles.

I’m sure we will get one, the universal repaint probably won’t even be sold under the studio series line, just as a park exclusive like Evac and the others.
As per Hightower’s instructions, We’ll be getting leader class Scavenger in early 2020, while Overload comes later in the year, so there will probably be another leader sold alongside Scavenger.

Cool! What do you think of them?
Also, did you see the voyagers or Jetwing Prime?

I like them all. Hightower is a brick. He’s a straight up brick but I like his unique look. Combined with Scrapmetal is secure but loose. They’ll stay together but droops with the hinge that connects them.
No voyagers, no leaders. I checked two other Walmart’s too. Full waves dont ship together unless it’s a wave one launch. They come out separate.

Right, that makes sense. All the places around me got the wave 5 voyagers and leaders but never the deluxes.

He doesn’t have a scoop thumb like in the promotional images?
WE HAVE BEEN CHEATED AND LIED TO BY HASBRO!

Look at my photo. That Devastator was an early EARLY stage prototype. There’s a lot of difference with that grey prototype left arm and the final product
There’s no cables or anything like the prototype had and I guarantee Devastator won’t have those huge tubes on his back like the prototype does either now

Thats an amazing priceand I'm flat broke
yeah i just wish they had his wave-mate Bonecrusher for same price but they don't have him at all (they have Movie The Best version but obviously that's just the 2007 mold) after having sold out of Boney like most other sites have. Can still find Bonecrusher for just over £30 but it's a bit much for me at moment and I would bloody jump on a bargain Boney for same price like this Prime. Almost makes me wish I bought Bonecrusher way back at start of year instead of Prime and then got Prime now but I frickin' love SS32 Optimus and had to get him at same time I got Jetfire for the combining fun. And Jetfire himself rarely appears in sales but his wave-mate DotM Megatron I got a couple months ago for about £37 from Amazon rather than the usual Leader class price of £45 or £50 so I may the right choice there.
Kapow also currently has WWII Bee for £14.99 and (like a lot of places) Dropkick helicopter for £9.99 (must be shelfwarming their warehouses)

Dropkick’s not a bad figure IMO, just not a good representation of the character. I got one cheap just for the alt. mode, and it’s ok. Better than ROTF Blazemaster, I will say that

Heh yeah. I made his legs look like they were buckling under the weight but still surprised they actually didn't buckle for real.
I posted these in the pose thread but I thought I'd put them here too cos a friend of mine commented that in almost every pic he's seen Long Haul is in a pose that makes him look like he wants a hug so I took a couple more photos in poses definitely not doing a hugging gesture.
Long Haulk smash
Long Haulk sad
Bit more expressive that I originally thought he was, being such a chunky bot.

Just this one. I've never seen Rampage or Scrapmetal in stores and Hightower's new. I wasn't gonna get Long Haul just yet but he was there right in front of me two weeks ago in Forbidden Planet and I got a lil discount from my friend who works there so I couldn't help myself. I haven't tried those other ones so I don't know what they're like but if I didn't know Long Haul was a combiner I wouldn't even suspect it. Unlike many Combiner War figures that have super obvious pegs and very samey bodies and stuff.
i rest now. goodnight.

I'm gonna try to wait out finding him in stores, along with the deluxes. The next month and a few days is going to be expensive regardless of Unicron happening.

Likely picking up dropkicks car mode tho i'm yet to pick up shatter, no doubt they will get released with the airmode kibble robot modes at some point (ThreeA stuff is amazing but definitely out of my non existing budget).

Yep! I got these paintbrushes from Amazon a while ago, and they have these thin plastic covers that are the perfect diameter to fit on the existing smokestacks. So, I cut one in half and painted them silver, and they work great!

Dunno about where you are but here in UK I asked about upcoming releases while in Forbidden Planet yesterday and Long Haul was scheduled for 5th August except they've had him on the shelves for at least a couple of weeks already (since I bought mine there 2 weeks ago). Don't know about where you are. It's strange. I've never seen Rampage or Scrapmetal for sale in the store and barely online. Very limited stocks apparently.

Went to the model shop where I normally buy paints and got me a couple brushes that had the plastic tube cover. So I'mma try that. Thanks for the idea.

Ok I done what you did. Looking at my photo now I think I made them a bit too long but I can always cut them down a bit later. Thanks again for the idea. The truck just looked so wrong with stumpy stacks.

Looks great, glad it worked for you!
Also, I’m sure it’ll be gone pretty quickly but Long Haul is currently in stock on Amazon.
