Rumors about the Future of Alternators!

Rumor has it that Hasbro's Transformers: Alternators may soon be expanding into a larger pricepoint. In addition to the $20 cars, we may also have several $30 dollar jets as well as some other military and construction vehicles. This depends largely on how well the current crop of Alternators this holiday season.
An CGI Alternators cartoon might happen in one form or another. If not on television then perhaps in a form similar to Takara's Robotmasters DVD. The current Transformers animated series is not doing very well in the ratings in the English or Japanese speaking countries (maybe because it's on a 5 in the morning?) so alternative animation ideas are being looked at. I wouldn't bet on seeing an Alternators cartoon replacing the main line series, though. At this time, Mainframe has not been contacted, possibly due to their strong connection with Mattel.
If you want to see more Alternators products, make sure they do well this holiday season. Alternators make excellent gifts for the Transformer fan, the car guy, or the kids in your family...
