War for Cybertron Kingdom T-Wrecks More In-Hand Images

Thanks to Seibertronian Actar, we have some new images of Kingdom Leader Class T-Wrecks in the flesh plastic! While there isn't really anything new here, we do get some different lighting and poses that show him off better in his beast mode. Take a look below!

While T-Wrecks is a robot head retool and redeco of Kingdom Megatron, the new colors really make him pop and give him a different feel than the Predacon leader. T-Wrecks will be a Target RedCard exclusive in the U.S., with potential distribution channels in other markets as yet unknown. Are you planning on picking him up when he's released? Let us know what you think, and if you're excited (or not) for this Kingdom addition.

Important to note, T-Wrecks isn't actually a new-head retool of Megatron. If you look closely at pictures of him, he actually has the closed-mouth headsculpt of Megatron (even though we know the open-mouth teeth-gritting alternate headsculpt exists), but with the tooth-color paint app intended for use with that alternate headsculpt, just painted onto the closed mouth like lipstick.

Hopefully Hasbro fixed the head sculpt issue. So far we haven't seen a T-Wrecks with the right head and I find that a little disconcerting.

Given the way these "early previews" generally work, it's very likely all the images we've seen are of the same copy being passed around by several individuals.

T-Wrecks is a big "meh" for me. Appart already having Beast Megs, T-Wrecks feel like an unpainted prototype. It may follow the original, but I expect more from a special release.

Oh well.

With The reissue of BW Megatron coming out, it really made it difficult for me to want to get that one and the Kingdom figure. But T-Wrecks I think is the perfect way for me to get both, if I choose to get the two molds.

That's an understatement. This new one is missing so many colors and shades from the original deco that they practically simplified it.

I think they should have done a fully new head sculpt for T-Wrecks, or at least something what wasn't megatron based.

So, you don't want T-Wrecks's head to look like T-Wrecks's head?

He should get along nicely with Siege Netflix Megatron.

I really hope these copies were non-final. He doesn't pop like he should, and that mouth issue is just real awkward. Leakers said he should come with the new mouth, but we've yet to see that happen.

From what I remember, the word from leakers after a couple copies of Megatron with that alternate gritting-teeth headsculpt popped up was that for whatever reason, T-Wrecks wouldn't have it, and they seem to have been completely right about that so far. The paint app clearly intended for the teeth on the alternate headsculpt just makes it that much more aggravating.

I was just curious, has anyone purchased any Kingdom toys missing the golden disk collector cards? Ractonite was only my 2nd Kingdom purchase. The card was missing and I was totally oblivious to it.

Not so far.

Which figures are supposed to have it? Just the beasts? I have Dinobot, Ultra Magnus and Cyclonus opened so far, and they only had instructions. My Inferno and Rattrap are still sealed.

It should be tucked in a little pocket on the side of the inner packaging.

For all of them?

Also, did anyone ever find a Megatron with that alternate head at retail?

Yes, all Deluxes, Voyagers and Leaders have the cards on the lower left side of the insert to which the figure is attached (as shown below).

Please make sure to check for their parts and accessories on the lower backside of the insert. I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be missing accessories for these figures that end up getting tossed in the trash unfortunately.
