Summary Of This Issue:
The single most powerful foe the Transformers have ever faced - the planet devourer, Unicron - is back... with a vengeance! Already, he's enslaved the Decepticons, Cyclonus and Scourge, and the bounty-hunter, Death's Head, using the latter to kill Shockwave and replace him with Cyclonus and Scourge, making Unicron - to all intents and purposes - leader of the Decepticons! And now he intends to use the Decepticons to instigate all-out war against the Autobots. Nothing new there, you might think. Trouble is, in 2008, the forces of the Autobots and Decepticons have reached something of a deadlock - with both sides so evenly matched that neither can make any significant advancement against the other. So, with both sides set to wipe each other out in the coming conflict, it looks as though the only victor will be Unicron!
