Transformers UK, also known as Marvel UK or TF UK, is an adaptation of the US Marvel Comics Transformers run. Rather than a monthly schedule, Marvel UK published Transformers bi-weekly from issues 1-26 and 309-332, with the run from issue 27 until 208 being released on a weekly basis.
Aside from reprinting the Marvel US stories, TF UK also featured original works that enhanced the overall stories while (mostly) not contradicting them. Issues 290-332 do not contain any of this "new" material, and instead feature the same stories as Marvel US issues 65-80 along with reprints of other earlier stories. The TF UK original material from issues 255-289, known as the "Earthforce" story, are generally considered to not be canonical with the rest of the Marvel Transformers run.
The issues themselves are larger and on thinner paper than the US comics, having been printed on what most Americans would consider "magazine" paper. Many were accompanied by removable "free gifts". Due to these and the practice of writing the name of the subscriber on the cover corner by Newsagents, it can be difficult to find some issues of Marvel UK in good condition.
The series introduced many notable Transformers concepts such as the Wreckers, and also contains the first Transformers storyline appearance of Marvel villain Death's Head. For Marvel fans, TF UK is set in the universe of Earth-120185.
Marvel UK's Transformers contains several classic stories not initially published in America, such as Target: 2006, Time Wars, and many more. The Administrative Staff of Seibertron.com highly recommend that Transformers fans from around the world experience this classic Transformers fiction!
