"Racing stripe" or not, it's still more correct than the orange "zigzag" going down the chest on Hasbro's Unicron.

But both versions need to use more SUBTLETY to their color schemes if they want these to be as show-accurate as possible. The G1 animation models were not fancy-shmancy with so many itty-bitty details splattered onto their bodies. They had BASIC color schemes and those worked well for them. All these tiny bits of added red and silver paint are completely unnecessary, as they take away from the show-accurate nature of these color schemes.

That being said, the little silver paint additions are much more welcome than the red (or any other colour) ones, as it atleast keeps with the other places where silver is used well.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty funny. It reminds me of a series of Unicron videos I made that I cannot post on this site without getting in massive trouble.
