Who's gonna be the torso, Sea Clamp or Cicadacon? And from which mold?
Both would make sense in a way. Sea Clamp was the biggest of the three in the original toy, but he formed the pants instead. And his show model was the smaller of the two.
Cicadacon would also work since he was the torso of the original toy and his show model was the beefiest of the three. But, the Air Raid mold would work so much better for him than any of the torso molds, and Skydive's head is a close enough match to his show model's head that he wouldn't need a new head. And his original toy was the smallest of the three as well.
But looking at all of the available CW Voyagers there are to choose from (Optimus, Silverbolt, Motormaster, Cyclonus, Hot Spot, Onslaught, an Scattershot---Sky Lynx isn't likely to be available for Fun Pub just yet), none of them really work that well. The only one that might possibly, slightly work is Cyclonus for Cicadacon, but just barely, and not nearly as well as the Air Raid mold would work for him.
And if Cicadacon does end up being the torso, which Deluxe would work for Sea Clamp? The Rook mold would have worked well with its ability to give him Hulk Hands as a homage to his claws, but that mold's already reserved for Tarantulas. Maybe the Drag Strip mold could use the Mirage head for him, but I don't know.
Man, this is tough.

Haha, yeah. Curious though, would you preffer this over a straight up rerelease of the original?
If they did do a new CW/UW version of Liokaiser, the design would be a step backwards, as the original only needed the head as an extra, not the fists or feet. Make mine a reissue, please!

I still want that beast wars combiner character to get a new mold at somepoint plus have his maximal repaint counterpart and In all honesty i wish Hasbro/Takara would realize if they made the japan g1 only combiners a LOT of people would just give them their money but no....

Can we please get this thread back on topic? I've tried several times only for it to get veered off again.

No. What you want in terms of figures is irrelevant. There is no place for discussion on a forum devoted to and designed for discussion.
Lol I'm kidding. Liokaiser would have been better by a mile than this thing, and I'd also rather have an updated Tripredicus....an updated version of the original, three member figure, before I am told that I'm somehow wrong....than some Frankenstein thing like this is clearly going to be. I'd have preferred, somehow, an updated Tripedicus and like two other figures rather than another WTF-tier combiner just because the Club can make combiners. And I certainly don't believe that the Club will be able to produce a decent piece of fiction to wrap this in that will change my mind.

The club are just doing the best with what they can.
Now when do people think we'll get a glimpse of the fourth limb?

I dont know, this all seems awfully early (great news though!). We had our final reveal April 2015 justa few months ago. I would be pleasantly surprised if we get the rest of the reveals this year too.

The two others could be Grimlock and Ultra Magnus/Mammoth, as those two along with the other three are the five Autobots who got turned into Maximals in the BWSG storyline, and then back to Autobots in the current "Another Light" storyline (though, Grimlock and Ultra Mammoth chose to keep their beast forms while Prowl/Ironhide/Silverbolt got new non-beast forms). "Another Light' could potentially lead into next year's BotCon story, with the five getting another another upgrade into some CW mold bodies (maybe with the CW Optimus finally getting some kind of Ultra Magnus deco that some seem so anxious to see it get in spite of both the Leader UM and the Battle Core OP figures).Hellscream9999 wrote:Anybody think we'll get a magnaboss as the add-on sets![]()
They were the G1 characters, so:
1) A brown and white Silverbolt
2) A yellow and brown Prowl
3) A grey and red Ironhide
4) 2 others to compliment them (maybe bird-of-prey inspired fliers, or something)![]()

Or, another candidate could be a version of Fort Max, who is said to have been the founder of the Maximals.

As a matter of fact, yes.Stealth Claw wrote:I cant make it to botcon, and prob never will be able to (live in Canada) but I'm interested in this set, is their a way to get a set with out going to botcon?

I think either 2 Voyagers and 3 deluxes, 4 Deluxes and one Voyager, or four Deluxes, one Voyager, and something else like Scorponok and Oilmaster.
