The Maximal Imperium?Bed Bugs wrote:Yeah, I forgot about that.
So what other rivals can the Predacus Council have?

I was looking for other Predacon factions for rivals. This feels like it's move a Predacon Civil War story than a Predacon vs. Maximal story.

IDW's Beast Era is quite different 3H's/Fun Pub's.Hellscream9999 wrote:Bed Bugs wrote:But if Silverbolt, Ironhide, and Prowl return to being Autobots, wouldn't they revert to just looking like their already released Combiner Wars toys?

It could be lio-convoy and razorbeast - as per the graphic novel - they may have been dealing with magmatron, but he worked for the council and lio did seem to be opposing the council as well.

Not necessarily. Currently, Silverbolt is the only one in his CW body. But, should Ultra Mammoth become Ultra Magnus again, he could become the torso, and Silverbolt (along with Ironhide, Prowl, and Grimlock) could undergo the same phenomenon that would upgrade Ultra Magnus and become a new form based on one of the limb molds and colored like BW eagle Silverbolt. The Firefly mold, for example, could even be a straight redeco as its head could work to approximate the mouthplated BW eagle Silverbolt's head.Bed Bugs wrote:But if Silverbolt, Ironhide, and Prowl return to being Autobots, wouldn't they revert to just looking like their already released Combiner Wars toys?

Well, as far as the BW cartoon is concerned (the thing all of this revolves around), neither group becomes a 3-part beast Tripredacus or a 3-part beast Magnaboss anyway.Bed Bugs wrote:I dunno, that seems like wishful thinking, and kind of pointless.
Like, as far as the timing goes, we know 5-part Vehicle Predacus happens first, then 3 part Beast Tripredacus later. With Magnaboss, it's been established that the G1 bots become 3-part combiner Beast Magnaboss. What you're proposing is moving them in the opposite direction that the Tripredacus Council is moving in where 3-part combiner Beast Magnaboss becomes 5-part combiner Vehicle Magnaboss.
I just don't see that happening.

I don't see why.Bed Bugs wrote:The only way I could see that working is if Ultra Magnus and Grimlock's sparks get absorbed into the combined forms personality.
Ultra Magnus = Magna
Grimlock = Boss
Ultra Magnus + Grimlock = Magnaboss

It could turn out to be either Silverbolt or Scattershot (but not Cyclonus, his chest is different).

It has to have wings. We just can't see them in this artwork. All I'm saying is that, because we can't see the wings, the mold could be one version or the other.Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:No visible wings...![]()

So, what are we looking at then? A wingless silverbolt figure? I would assume then that they might do something special in lieu of wings then...
