BLACKOUTAutobot Security (Bounty Hunter / Informant / Private Investigator)
Years before the Ark & the Nemesis left Cybertron, BLACKOUT was a young street tough and Iacon informant. He was one of hundreds of thousands of eyes and ears serving Alita One's resistance faction that covered Prime & Bumblebee's ass. One of the minor players in the sewers and basements of Cybertron, scrounging (and concealing) remaining energy supplies to power the launch of the Ark and hopefully sustain remaining fighters in the meantime.
One of the (formerly neutral) Transformers convicted by SHOCKWAVE (after the disappearance of the NEMESIS,) on suspicion of being a petty thief and overall a nuisance to the Decepticon Cause, his spark chamber was removed, body deactivated and melted down. His personality component was stored in a bank deep beneath Decepticon HQ in the event Megatron decides to personally rehabilitate one of the millions of expendable "grunts" for reasons all His own.
Ages pass and Rodimus Major decides to hand-select and release prisoners, review each case and decide if they each warrant their freedom or the people of Cybertron or Earth merit continued protection from them.
His personality component was revived and installed in the chasis of a torn apart stunticon clone the Quintasons tried to use as leverage on an autobot stronghold.
Blackout served the Autobot cause briefly as he yearned to race, fight and generally annoy and ignore the Human populace, in the process of kicking Decepticon after-burners for imprisoning him.
These days, if you've got energon chips, he'll investigate your beef.
He won't outright kill a target unless absolutely necessary and its been agreed to ahead-of-time by the (Predacon/Autobot-Alliance led) leadership council, as he knows how it feels to be disembodied and isn't a fan of being summarily convicted again and quickly being returned to the catacombs beneath cybertron.
Packs a variety of mission-specific automatic acid weapons, compression rifles, squid ink (in vehicle mode shot from his tailpipe) that makes exact pin-point aiming to fire upon his vulnerable areas difficult, wrist-located blades in bot mode, defensive forcefield screens, and non-lethal transformation-disabling technology.
Rule One: Everyone (except "biologicals") are fair game. Let the skinbags figure things out on their own.
Prefers to 'notify' his targets to "get the f*** out of town" by firing a warning shot from his forearm-mounted energon crossbow across their path and if they fail to heed the less-than-subtle hint....all bets are off.
I give my quarry a fighting chance, which is more than the Decepticons would give ~anyone~ around here. If you're innocent, you'll stand your ground. If you've got something to hide, your next move will show me everything.
