Maybe when the the 5 Autobots got off and started traveling to Earth, the ship was destroyed and the rest of the Autobots were "flying" in deep space and had to live among the stars.
How did they maneuver to Earth in squidball form, when Bumblebee borrowed the Bat Cave signal, and send it thru the sky?
You mean when he signaled them for his location and the location of the Cube? Well they saw the signal and "landed" there.

You can't land on Earth, if first you can't maneuver your trajectory to point towards Earth at the precise angle of entry.

Well they can control their meteor-modes the same way they can control their car modes.

Well don't they have jet-boosters or something so they can control their meteor modes?

No way! They can't even fly.

Sadly, there's none.
They fall out of the sky.

When things move, they pick up heat. Thats all it is.An_de wrote:Leonardo wrote:They do have boosters or thrusters, don't they?
I think so... But from the back of the toy there's a cool flame coming out... It must be from a thruster/booster or it can be just whom the air pressure during falling from the sky...

No boosters.
Why not? Because that sort of discharge would come up on our scanners. We'd SEE the boosters and know they're not just Meteors.
And, back to the main question, would it not look a little odd seeing meteors heading AWAY from earth suddenly?An_de wrote:Meverix wrote:When things move, they pick up heat. Thats all it is.An_de wrote:Leonardo wrote:They do have boosters or thrusters, don't they?

I never thought about that...

Sounds like another one the writers are gonna stumble on trying to explain.

Well if on Cybertron there isn't gravity, they just make a big jump and they are in space (the most unwise thing I said for today)
Leonardo wrote:Valid points; I concede.
In that case, I can't really see how they were guiding themselves through space or how Bumblebee followed Megatron in the prequel comic.

Cybertron has gravity. Never will ever a planet be without any gravity.
What ABOUT Mars? Of course that has gravity. How do you think the Rover was able to drive across it?An_de wrote:Auto Bot wrote:An_de wrote:Auto Bot wrote:An_de wrote:I don't know why the forum didn't show my post after the quote but I was saying that those meteors had jet-boosters (I think) and they helped them to maneuver.

All planets, moons, comets, sun have their own gravity.

Not what I was talking about. I wanted to say this: What if they launched someway else? Like the rockets: They launch and then they dismantle during flying.
