Can You still find Alternators in store?

Feel free to discuss anything about any of the thousands of Transformer toys here. Ouch, Amazon is the expensive way ... unless you were patient and waited for the occasional good deal. I've been looking for months ... not many deals.

The only way I would buy from them is if Amazon was actually selling the toy ... and not some affiliated store that's gonna charge you out the ass for shipping.

I find Amazon affiliated stores do nothing but price gouge TF's.

Then, you have some ebay schmucks selling Binals for a decent price with "non specified" shipping charges. Yeah, you might want to watch out for that scam.

Or they charge $15 for the figures, but $50 for shipping.

Any newbs should really watch out for these typical scams.

I have about 5 different sites that I still find Binaltechs for reasonable prices. The rare stuff I have to get on ebay though.

I only need 2 more BT's, then I'm complete. It's been a rough journey ... I just started collecting them in July.

Good luck to all!

which ones do you need? where do you get yours? I mentioned in another post that I am lacking only 3 Autobots of the entire Alt/BT line.

you can pick up binaltechs lambor, dead end and swindle at gundamstoreandmore.com

$56 a pc.

Broadblast. Go to toysnjoys.com. they have lots of goodies there, but most are overpriced. Also, red meister(zoom zoom) for $100 there. Not too bad.

Grimlock - ebay. His BIN's are much more reasonable than WJ's.

Swerve. Try to find him loose on ebay. BIN w/ make an offer option. Depending on condition ... you can score him from 75-100 bucks plus shipping.

Laserwave. I can find him for you if you're interested. $75 in an ebay store that I have bookmarked at my work computer.

I'm not sure what level of completion you're looking to get to, but there's damn near 40 of these things.

I need:

- wonderfest black convoy
- decepticharge
- binaltech skids

I would also like a binaltech version of wheeljack, but his MISB prices have not been reasonable on ebay.

You can see my full collection in the other thread. I posted right after you did.

My region of the world is relatively small in terms of population (~90,000) so I doubt that they will put Alternators on the shelves.

I live in Southern Oregon, which has 8 towns that add up to the 90,000 people. I used to live in places that had more people.

I probably will not sell my Alt/BT collection...in another thread, I listed all of the ones that I have.

I was just at my Walmart last night and they had several alternators including Tracks, Ricochet, Swindle, Skids, Rollbar, Sunstreaker, Optimus Prime, and Shockblast. The've been carrying them on a regular basis for the last 2 months here, and it's not for a lack of transformers to sell either, as they have plenty of classics, and movie figures, as well as a few cybertron figures.
