Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

Ravage is Wave 4, along with Mudflap.

Valley Fair Mall London Drugs has Deluxe Wave 2. Picked me up Skids and Chromia. They had two Wheelie's. I might go back and get one later. But first I want to (hopefully) get The Fallen at Toys 'R Us tomorrow.

Heck yeah! Yeah, modern Super Soakers don't have removable bottles at all, but dunking the bottle was a quicker way to fill it. It's cool though I still want it.

Hah, that would be a pretty awesome display. I was thinking about getting him but I like more traditional robot modes, and tend to stick with mostly G1 characters to limit my spending. He is a really original bot though, and I love how most of the robot bits are hidden in plane mode. I might still change my mind yet. I'd actually be interested in the motorcycle scouts if they had a different head design too.

I guess they expect kids today to have taps outside and hoses everywhere. What, are they too lazy to fill up buckets of water and place them in strategic locations or 'bases' in the park, like on hills or behind rocks/trees?

The Baron's the only Scout I'm interested in. Unique altmode [won't be long until Hearts of Steel customs...] and a robot that LOOKS like it belongs in that era, with spindly arms and a head that looks like a Terminator's in an old miner's cap!

Honestly, kids these days are probably too lazy to play with waterguns at all. :p Well, maybe not. I bet the non-removable tank is probably a safety thing. Hmm, you had cooler waterfights than we did, we never had enough buckets to do anything like that. The hose was always relied on. Good thing there was always one in the front and back of the house so there could be 2 bases.

Terminator in a minor's cap...lol, that's hilarious. Yeah they did do a good job with him for sure. It's tempting especially with the sale...

Lazy kids? Completely understandable. I shoulda thought of that...

As for the safety issue, I guess that makes sense. We would use our bottles as last-resort water-grenades, unscrewing them and tossing them at opponents. Sure, you'd lose since your gun would have no more water, but at least you could drop an opponent or two!

OK, which of you yo-yo's went to the Metrotown and Coquitlam Toys 'R Us' and stole The Fallen's they no doubt had? Because that's the only explanation I can come up with to explain why, even though both stores had loads of Wave 2 stuff (though Metrotown had more), neither of them had even one Fallen.

Perhaps the TRU workers put that Makuta figure in the Bionicle section, where it belongs. :P

ROFL.....

Metro had stuff up earlier in the week but no Fallens then either. That said I didn't check the Lego row. And same stuff sitting at Broadway too.

40 is a good price, I need to check the ones i'm close to as I can't get to brentwood for a few days at least. But 60 is about what I expected, and is better than the 80 at last weeks convention.

During my hunt for the soundtrack and score today, I stopped by Wal-Mart, and found that they had exactly one Fallen. After heading off to Metrotown to get the score (I had already gotten the soundtrack, and spent nearly the entire time cursing a blue streak in my head), I went back and picked it up.

Picked up Superion yesterday at Zellers Surrey Place still had one left.

On a whim checked TRU Surrey today, they one Fallen left and still had the sale price tags from last week out so complained and got him for the sale price.
They have decent stock numbers for scouts, RPM, Gravitybots and a small pile of Sam/BB packs but i'm not paying $50 for that.

Picked up Scalpel and Human Alliance Bumblebee from Walmart. Left the other two scouts there for now.

FYI (because I didn't know this), the Human Alliance set is $39.92 at Walmart, instead of the $49 or so at Zellers.

Also, HA Bumblebee is awesome! I can't wait to get more. These guys are like Alternators 2.0.

Picked up a Mixmaster at Wal-Mart today. Among the other new stuff they had were Skywarp and Ramjet, the new Ultimate Alliance Bumblebee, Human Alliance Bumblebee/Sam, and the Wave 3 Scouts (among which were two Scalpels, snapped up by a pair of yo-yo's right when I got there. *insert grumbling noise here*)

No new stuff at either Toys 'R Us. Hopefully next week they'll get Ravage and Mudflap. Come on, guys! Get with the freakin' program, already!

Hmm, I should start checking around then. I finally decided to get the movie G1-deco Seekers once I figured out the chicken legs are optional and you can mess around with the panels a bit to make them look a little better. I'll start with Skywarp and work from there.

That won't help much, since it's such a terrible, abysmal mould. I got one as a gift, and found a use for it, some kind of walking tank thing.

Slightly off-topic:

I was at the Newton Wal*mart last night, and even though i have been there before I am constantly amaze that the shelves in the toy section look like they have been stocked by blind rabid monkeys.

The transformers stuff is spread out so things are in 4 places along one row + two endcaps. The scouts alone were in 3 different places. The Joe stuff initially looked like it was all together with only the MARS pack for the movie stuff until I saw the new vehicles hiding on the top shelf blocked by BB arm-blasters, and then other stuff on the opposite side of the row, meters from the rest hidden at the bottom with other stuff.

Now I know that the New West/Richmond, and Lougheed locations near me are 10 times better, but does anyone else have a wal-mart being stocked by complete imbeciles?

and yhea they had Skywarp and Thrust. Passed on both.

Once I ran an Anime festival with over 6,000 attendees. Now... not so much.

^ Metrotown Zellers usually looks like that. And the Target I went to in Bellingham yesterday was much the same. Did you guys know the Toys R Us down there went out of business? That sucks, I was super disappointed...especially after walking around in the hot sun for half an hour looking for it.

That won't help much, since it's such a terrible, abysmal mould. I got one as a gift, and found a use for it, some kind of walking tank thing.

Yeah, it's a pretty crappy mold but I decided it was satisfactory enough for me. Walking tank mode thing is kinda cool, I guess... I'll see how I like Skywarp and if I hate it I won't bother with the rest.

By the way, I did find those Super Soakers at Zellers. And they were around $13, a little bit cheaper than the TRU sale! Sweet.

Edit: Oh, and another by the way, your sig pic is awesome.

Hey everyone long time viewer first time poster here. I was wondering if anybody has information on the following toys around the Kitchener, Waterloo, or Cambridge Ontario area.

Masterpiece Grimlock

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
