carytheone wrote:Not yet, I'm a big scaredy cat. I haven't even applied the stock stickers that came with Gen Whirl or Roadbuster or Leader Megs. If I'm basing it off reviews and pictures I would say Prime Knockout seems to make the biggest difference. My repro wishlist has grown quite large and expensive at this point. I've heard nothing but good things; has anyone here dipped their toes in the repro waters yet?william-james88 wrote:carytheone wrote:Stickers scare me, so I've yet to get any Reprolabels. MP-10's are on the wish list though.
Hes my pririty too but I want to ship other sets of stickers at the same time and I dont really know what else to get. Is there any sticker set you found made a huge difference on a once lackluster toy?
There are 100s of Repro sets I would love to get but it all always boils down to one thing. It's money I could spend on another toy. I still to this day have never bought a set of Repros.william-james88 wrote:Hes my pririty too but I want to ship other sets of stickers at the same time and I dont really know what else to get. 'Cause I said so.BillboJimBo wrote:Cobotron wrote:BTW, I absolutely adore this blue Bluestreak. He may be my new #1 all time bestest most awesomeist bury him with me when I die favorite transforming robot toy collectible ever, all the time.
What makes him the best? How is he better than Prime, or Wheeljack?
Well, I am James wrote:Did you try doing this yet?
I like him just fine. His transformation is simple, but I like his character design in both modes. Plus he was free, so I can't complain.BJandtheBear wrote:How do you find that Animated Slug? Could you rank the 3 animated dinos?
Me, it would go Swoop, Slug (every other animated figure aside from blitzwing and voyager Megs) then Grimlock.

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I should just link ya to my Pinterest wishlist of greed, which is incomplete because I just started to feel bad. Anyway, I'll PM ya later cause I don't want to junk up the collect-o-tron.william-james88 wrote:Please share this wishlist withus, it might inspire me.
I reaaaaaaaally like the set for Combiner Wars "G1" leader Megatron. And I got the one for Combiner Wars voyager Optimus Prime. I was thinking about the sets for my growing MP collection..so maybe I'll jump on those.carytheone wrote:I should just link ya to my Pinterest wishlist of greed, which is incomplete because I just started to feel bad. Mostly Prime stuffs and pretty much every other figure I own.

Cobotron wrote:He is the only Ani dino I have. I've never been all that interested in Grimlock, but I am thinking of making an expedition into the jungle to capture a Swoop. Maybe the TAV variety.
I'm glad you came over to play in the Collect-O-Tron Willy. I hope you'll come play more often.
william-james88 wrote:A while back, Cobotron was talking about Transformer toys which fit a certain character profile. I just got animate swoop in TAV deco (anyone want to tell me what the deco is referencing?) and when his neck isnt strechted out, it looks like he has a pointy hood. With the shoulderpads and the wings becoming a cape, he looks a lot like a high priest at the head of an evil cult:

Cool, which one?Cobotron wrote:Ct1, I just put one of those Impossible Toys Mini Chargers in my PoL.
When I say spruce up, I specifically mean the neat cybertron glow effect a lot of the sets have.william-james88 wrote:Yup, that was their new big thing. They arent giving them away though.
CW Magnus, could be interesting. Then again I did skip the takara to save money...
And I dont feel that reprolabels would spruce up all my figures. I dont like anyof the stickers they have for combiner wars since it doesnt gell well with the modern look of the toys, for instance. I will have to check out knowckout. I dont have that deco though (only beast hunters, which is great too, but for difference reasons).
Good point. I just looked at it and their stickers pretty much go where all takara's paint is. They look cool though, and really spruce up Hasbro's. I love the way they do the IDW glowy energy under-panels.LLcoolJames88 wrote:CW Magnus, could be interesting. Then again I did skip the takara to save money...

This sh!t will haunt my dreams tonight. I'm tempted to make it my avatar, much for the same reason I used RID Jazz.
