Thats more or less a converted van, but Cubex Huff is still Deluxe if, as the picture showed, they want to compare scale along side Prowl.
I am really liking Cubex take on Huffer and may pick him up as long as the price is right, but he most definately will not be displayed with any MP as he clearly scales better alongside Deluxe Classics.
Perhaps Daimchoc can provide a pic of Cubex Huff along side some of Hasbros Classics cars.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
Dead Metal wrote:I don't know how often I have to repeat this, but the MP line (since MP 10) is scaled to cartoon robot modes. And as you can see, even the alt-mode is in cartoon scale.
How often will we have to tell you until it finally sinks in?
Sure if you want, you can put him with your Classics, but to contantly go on about how it's not Mp scaled even after it's been pointed out for a year, is just asinine.

My, My. What a lovely way with words you have.
Making very blatent suggestions that a user on this Transformers fansite forum has learning difficulties is a very low blow, especialy from an ex-News Crew member and I feel this is more than insulting to any child or adult who frequent this great website looking to gain info on one of their favourite pastimes who may struggle with their own issues.
Please dont hate people who cant voice their own opinions or feel affraid to offer words.
If you feel you must try to attack me on a very public forum frequented by children and adults of all ages, just take a moment to reflect on the bigger picture.
I can offer my thoughts on a new Transformer related release and should I decide to re-evaluate the merits of that release, I can hold my hand up and say I have changed my view.
I hope you can do the same in respects to the way you have tried to belittle me in you post.

Typical, but no dice.

DM... I don't know what the issue is, but clearly you're angry for no good reason. Mel has an opinion, and whether it's good or bad, right or wrong, it's his and he's allowed to voice it. You don't have to agree with it, but you do have to show him some respect as a human being. Just because his opinion on the scale of this figure doesn't fit with yours doesn't make him "learning impaired". You have every right to address his comments, but without crossing the line as you have here.
Mel hasn't bothered you, and he wasn't rude in his response to you, in fact... He let the issue die. You, on the other hand did not.
STOP.

Back to the figure, shame they couldnt have come up with a pair of articulated hands which fold out of the arms rather than the Revoltech style of plugging the hand or fist in for display.
This may just make me lean towards the X-transbots versions of Huffer and Pipes?

And then there is the third page. Although it's been pointed out to him, he kept on doing it. It's something we call flame baiting, and he proved it the moment he said this:robotmel wrote:Dead Metal wrote:I don't know how often I have to repeat this, but the MP line (since MP 10) is scaled to cartoon robot modes. Dead Metal wrote:So I responded in kind, which I'm allowed to do now that I'm no-longer staff.
It's a typical troll tactic, I just took it a little further, and his response to that sealed the deal.
He can act like an ass, but then when he gets the response to it I'm the bad guy, and his recent reply is so false and typical once more, suddenly my response to him wasn't "really" to him but to "all of the community".
That's the reason for the yawning baby, boring heard all that before.
Dead Metal wrote:Oh and, I don't have to be respectful to anyone just because I "used to be" a member of the News Crew. I left all those responsibilities behind when I left that position, now I'm just a regular jackoff. So that line doesn't cut it, not anymore.
Rated X wrote:Looks nice. Such a shame it isn't a nice scout size classics scale. I was under the assumption that this was the X-Transbots version. I didn't know it was a 2nd company competing with another MP Huffer. Is huffer really that important ??? Since Igear screwed up with Huffer's size, it would be more profitable for one of these two companies to shrink their mold down to scout size.

I collect MPs, so I'm getting this, but I agree with you X, I would like if one of these 3Ps would make scout sized versions that would fit a classics collection.
IGear really dropped the ball, and I wish someone would pick it up and run with classics minibots in scout size.

I'm in exactly the same position (at least for 1984 figures)! Trying to resist, but damn he looks greatDead Metal wrote:God damn, this is getting harder and harder to resist.
I know I only want to collect official MPs, but this has gotten to the point that, well could Takara actually top this? I'm beginning to think the answer is no.
