.... thats why you find them at stores only one or two at a time, maybe four if they decided to open a fresh case

i have seen a few stores get restocked with him so for now their doesnt appear to be a shortage- they just dont last long for a $100 bot....

and yeah the window is usually dented or rounded...

Just chill people.

They're going to have to put a lot of this toy out to make it worth having designed and created.

He'll be widely available.

Look at the $100 Millennium Falcon and other similarly sized/priced Star Wars toys. Those simply don't disappear or become difficult to find.

my local walmart had 2 on the shelf, I picked it up and put it under the price checker....$98.88, I just can't bring myself to put that much money on somthing like that. the dead horse has been beaten about the individual robot modes, but I was disipointed that they didn't bother making the mouth look like a grinder, or try to put more articulation into him so he could atleast hold some great poses. heck, for the money I'd love to see a more weathered paint job. the one I was looking at kept yelling "I am Decepticon" every time I'd mash the button.

I guess I'm saying, for me anyway, that $100 can be better put to encore figures or robotech/ macross stuff.

......I really did want to like Devastator tho.

picked one up today. i like it even more than i thought i would. tru i went to had 4 when i got there. went to some other isles to look at something and when i got back to get one and leave two were already gone.

im more than happy with him worth the 100 in my opinion.

i actually picked one up the other day. seeing this in person does kinda make you feel like buying it, and so i did.... lo and behold, i did end up returning it the next day. i didnt open it, so i cant criticize the figure nor was it the figure's fault for the return.... i returned it because, yup, $100 was just too much to drop on this guy

.... i mean he looks cool in the box all huge and all.... but he's not $100 cool

I have to agree. I saw him in person today at TRU and easily left him on the shelf. I think he is pretty neat, and he's certainly an interesting figure, but I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. He is actually shorter than what I had pictured in my mind. I mean he IS big, and I know he is supposed to be hunched over, but damn it he was way way way shorter than I thought he would be. Granted, I had bigger expectations than what I maybe should have had. But seriously though, this guy should not share the shelf with the Unicron reissue if Hasbro wants to sell as many as they are hoping to. It is twice the price, yet it is not as tall. I don't know.....I was just disappointed for the $100 price.

yeah saw him on the shelf, and even with the photoshopped images on the Box that Hasbro did to try to sell this figure.. it still sucks.. so I placed it back on the shelf, an that was that..

there is no way Legends Dev isn't the best version. I've probably transformed and played with him and things more than any transformer since like Classics JetFire a few years ago. Such cool little bot modes, nice alt modes, and a well engineered Legends combiner. His is just the right price, complexity and size for me to keep close to me and enjoy. I can say none of these things about the Supreme version. I am VERY happy with my purchase and at this point wouldn't consider Supreme version unless it was 30$.

im actually thinking about getting the ez devastator, then calling it quits with any other rotf constructicon and devastators.... it looks cool and each individual constructicon has a bot mode. you can already tell youre gonna have tons of fun with the ez devastator rather than the brick of a toy supreme devastator

I'm on the same page. I just watched a video review of the EZ Constricons/Devastator and it just looks like a fun toy. It won't also be as space hogging as its supreme incarnation. The supreme class Devastator is an impressive figure but the fact that the Constructicons don't have robot modes aside from combining to form Devastator is a disappointment for me. Without individual robot modes, it feels like I'm buying just Devastator rather than the Constructicons AND Devastator, if that makes any sense.

Sucks to the Legends Class version...

I am a big fan of the supreme Dev. He is a blast to just rip apart and put back together. He is durable enough that you don't have to worry about peices breaking off. He also looks great on the shelf. Very intimidating.

I'm dying for this guy, just need to play my cards right and catch him on sale, or else cash in some debit card points. I've got most of the Movie and ROTF Legends class figs, they'll look great with him. Some paint apps and weathering will make him look even better.

I recently purchased the ROTF Supreme Devastator at my local Target Store.
First of all, he is big at 18 inches standing up and pretty heavy as well.

Mixmaster won't shut up, literally never stays quiet unless he has 0% movement, which can get very annoying after a while and makes me wanna take the batteries out to have some silence.
The toy is detailed but lacks colors, so i started to customize it on my own little by little one step at a time in order to make it more appealing and movie like.

One major complaint is that the ratchet joint that holds Longhaul keeps snapping off due to the fact that the toy actually stands bow legged if you fold the knees in and also that it is very top heavy.
Rampage is really not a problem though, he pretty much stays once secured in place.

Another flaw that i find in the design is that Longhaul is very small when compared with Mixmaster and the others, he looks so out of scale as does Rampage, maybe the designers had to do it that way in order to have the legs work properly or something along those lines, but it would have been nice if they were a bit bigger in scale so they would match their fellow constructicon teamates.

Does anybody know when this is coming out in Canada? Because I really want him for my birthday...

no it's not. I've checked Wal-Mart canada, TRU canada. they did not have any results. however, i did manage to find it on amazon.com, not amazon.ca, because, let's face it, all .ca sells is books.

Do you have other stores locally like a Zellers? They tend to carry the same stock but just not in the same quantities as a Walmart or TRU.

I just bought this guy and he's really cool! I got him at walmart in the carts where they stock the figures on the shelves. The plastic bubble was a little bit dented. But I really like him, I admit 100 dollars is a bit too much.. But I've seen him stock out everywhere in my town, so i don't think it will go on sale anytime soon.

yeah i looked on zellers but not much in the way of TF's, i'll check again...

I have kept my composure, and still have passed up this figure on the shelves at the local wal-mart..it was not tough...99.98 is no discount where this thing is concerned..

I am hopeful that one day I can purchase this pile of TONKA trucks and cheap gimmicks...



still holding out for the magic 60.00 number...

i heard that, statisticly, hasbro factories go through more twist ties in a week than wonder bread does in a year!

For those that have this guy, is Mixmaster making noises if you kept Devastator in the box or is he only making noises when he's in his alt mode?

yeah it is kind of too bad they didnt at least give the supreme version robot modes, even if they were just simple lvl 1 or lvl 2 transformations....
