You can view it like that, or view it like I do. Take the green Ratchet cutout, revamp it and Viola!!! You got heads for bot g1 Ratchet and Ironhide.
And you won't have to pay 35 bucks USD on ebay for them. Sounds good to me.

2nd, Green Ratchet is not a 150$ figure. He's only expensive on the secondary market because he is unavailable outside of Japan. He was a mailaway exclusive figure that anybody who bought Transformers Visualworks and lived in Japan could get for quite cheap. I have Visualworks (awesome art book) and I have the little mailaway form, unfortunately I live in Canada. The price gets jacked up on websites like BBTS etc. because they need to find someone in japan to order a bunch of 40$ books, get the mailaway form, pay the fee for that and THEN ship it via registered EMS from Japan to their warehouses. EMS shipping can getting bloody psychotically expensive.
Basically, you aren't paying 150$ for the toy, you're paying 150$ for the hassle of getting the toy in stock.

I suppose I need to focus more on ripping on the toy and not the face. Regardless of the cost, the toy is an expensive, hideous green turd (IMO). But for alternate purposes, I guess I do see the value in the PDF face, especially for updating the original G1 toy.
And my wife thinks I'm not flexible.
