Autobase Aichi have updated with some minor Takara tidbits about the upcoming Encore series Minibots and Binaltech Meister figures.

It would appear that the Minibots release has been delayed, pushing their actual release to sometime in July. This later release has meant that they have had their Encore number switched with Omega Supreme, meaning that Omega will now be Encore 09, with Encore 10 to be the Minibots set.

Binaltech BT20 Meister has had his name slightly altered to "Argent Meister". It is probable that the name change is due to the new colour that the BT20 Meister figure will be receiving.

I would believe silver since 'argent' is french for silver. From the looks of this pic I believe that I am right:

OH, this was gonna be my first set from the Encore line, it's not that long of a wait though.

Argent? They're finally making a TF in tribute to the greatest band of al time Argent. Hold your heads up boys.

Yeah it does seem strange since the Japanese people call silver "gin". But I am always surprised that my Japanese students can rattle off periodic chart compositions very easily. Instead of saying "silver" or "gold" in English, they call it Ag or Au and expect foreigners to understand.

For instance they might say - "My boyfriend bought me an AU ring, last weekend". I think it's one of those Japanglish words. Another good example is KISS Players Autorooper, which is a play on words for Autotrooper.
