That's what I was thinking. It would also somewhat explain why she has red eyes. (Since if what you say is right, then she'd be based off of Megatron, who, like most Decepticons, has red eyes)

The show is like a mix up of all transformers shows before it. But when he took out the all spark and put it in his body i thought it was going to end like the movie good thing it did not. And what megatron did at the end to the doc was great.

I think it was in this thread.....Somebody made reference to Megatron not being at full power...yet............He looked to be pretty much full throttle to me.

One problem with that is, THEY'RE ROBOTS! Transformers don't have DNA and don't have genetic makeup so there can't be any Cybertronian DNA in Sari because it doesn't exsist.

I twas a let down after all the build up.

The thing with Blitzwing is that Prowl discovered that when Blitzwing changes personalities, his alt mode changes with him. So his "cold" mode is always the jet, if he is transformed, and likewise his "angry" personality is the tank. If he is in the air and is forced into his angry personality (which Bumblebee was trying to do) then he'd change into a tank involuntarily and crash.

why is bumblebee's annoying side bringing a "shock to my system." It is not as blatant as having him channeling Spidey, but I'm really left looking at him as the worst aspects of Hotshot, Cheetor, and Static. I actually liked each of them more than this BB.

positives:

1. Ratchet and BB 'crossing streams' to stop Blitzwing. As a move they used prior it affirms continuity.

2. Second time I didn't dislike this Optimus. This was surprising as aside from his 'spot light' flashback epi with BA, I was convinced he was less important plot wise than all the other Autobots, and would get some SaberPrime signature paint job and Rodimus personality upgrade in this fight. Really wasn't looking forward to that. Sounds like an Optimus (happy with va), looks like an Optimus (happy with design concept), but I think he's been written personality is the furthest removed of past Prime archetypes. Still this epi was refreshingly astep in the right direction for him and the transition could have been planed from epi one.

3. Sumdac has a secret about Sarri and the chosen connection. This will be addressed in later epi so it is something to look forward too. being Megatron's captive will change the feel of the show for the better.

4. the ship: As a decommissioned military vehicle, looks like the Ark, with maintenance equipment (possibly a huge claw rig), G1 OS color scheme, turret, and currently non sentient. It is not too big a step to complete the transition from ARK to Omega Supreme in a later epi.

5. gotta catch them all? the allspark made me think spark juice in condensed energon cubes shaped like a disco ball. The dispersal of said cubes ala Inuayasha jewel shards could create another sub plot.

6. Megatron is not Galvatron. Yes this is a plus for me. His defeat left his bad@$$ness intact rather than making him a weekly jober.

Yeah I noticed that the ark looked very similar in color to Omega Supreme after it crashed. They showed the top of the ship and immediately thought of Omega. Plus I read somewhere on here that he was a listed character for Animated..... Maybe the Ark will become Omega Supreme

thought it was okay, but I thought the animation was below the normal level for this show, or so it seemed to me.

The action was really good.

Was anyone like me, hoping that the Allspark was going to transform the ark into Omega? I mean I knew it wouldn't happen, but I was kind of hoping.

So the Allspark energy is spread out now? Are they going to have to go searching for pieces with the largest amounts and try to re-unite them? Does it mean that other bots will have been randomly brought to life because of the energy (like Wreck Gar, Omega, etc.?)?

Just thinking out loud here.

Bad Parts about this episode.

1. Sumdac magically reappeared. I was REALLY hopeing he died.

2. Sumdac is still alive.

3. Sumdac will be in more episodes after this.

4. Oh you get the point.

Good parts about this episode.

Just out of curriosidy, does anyone besides me realize the significants of Megatron's design?

This is the first time any new Megatron has actully made homage to the original design. At least for the Amarican cartoons.

Beast Wars, Beast Machines, RID, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Movie, all of them have completly different designs for Megatron. Beast Wars was was the closest to looking like G1 Megatron but even he had some significant differences.

Poor Starscream, he can't catch a break.

I enjoyed the finale for the most part, though every time Sari comes on screen and says something unbelievably pompous I just cringe helplessly.

This key is now the most powerful Cybertronian artifact in existence. Here you go little human girl.

Lord, just put me out of my misery now.

Just saw Part 2. It was alright, but not nearly as good as part one was leading to. Megatron is back, which is fantastic! All-spark is dispersed, also a good thing. The best part of part two, in my opinion, is when Megs put Starscream down! I actually cheered out loud! The worst part was that Sari has the key back...BAD idea!

Only one question I was left with at the end: What was up with the All-spark showing Sari a double-helix?


All in all, it was decent, but anticlimactic. I was expecting a bit more than what I got.

For all we know he could have scanned megatron spark and descovered some sort of code like our dna then combined that with his own genentic code to create sari you never know. Since in the series there always talking about the spark as being the cybertron equivelent of human dna since it gives each autobot and decepticon there uniquired look and personilty when there in robot mode.

More over I was dreading the idea of a "chosen leader blue blazing Optimus Prime get a repaint/upgrade like some of the pasts series but seemingly as important as Hotrods change to RoddyPrime. I'm just glad it didn't go that route.

And Sumdac dying would have ramifications on Sari ( like his abduction wouldn't... anyway) TFs 'have to' look out for her more than ever. They made her legitimately necessary with the last thing the Allspark did of its own accord.

As i said with allspark/energon residuals/cubes. The ability to make more TFs is still out there, just much harder to accomplish short of Sarri Key Power. If color schemes and quasi/cameos are any indication, the rest of the epi will have new looks for familiar faces. Of course with the pace they are setting, I wouldn't expect a combiner in 5 weeks/months or anything.

Still Sumdac + Megatron + Construction vehicles + Allspark energy =

edit: You know what SaberP IF They did change Optimus into your sig (but maybe a blue matrix flame sword...and his Axe) to match Megatron. I would sooo love the look, but I'ld never get anywhere near that toy if it had the Animated treatment. It could have served a plat spring board to give this Optimus a little more of that Prime leader aspect. Probably far too soon story wise...

Energon Rodimus has gold flames not blue but I supose you mean the body mold not the color.

I was really hoping that we'd get to see the Dinobots pitch in and help take out the Decpticons. When the Ark was brought back down to Earth, I was 100% certain they would land on Dinobot island where the Dinobots would turn on their former creator, Megatron. Seems to me that the absence of the Dinobots was a missed opportunity.

I don't get it why did Sumdac go with Megs at the end?

I liked the episode. A little less climactic than I thought it would be. Didn't they crash land on Dinobot Island? Where were the Dinobots?!

It's DNA, one of the first things they teach you in basic biology. The current popular theory is that Sari isn't totally human.

EDIT: This would also explain why the AllSpark showed her an image of Megatron.

No they didn't if you look there's snow and ice, the dinobots live on a tropical island.
