I noticed that a large portion of the trailer will not be used for anything other than the battle-station/cannon-mount. :-(

Even though I know this isn't anything near accurate for Rodimus, but I do hope the cannons on the trailer/battle-station can be mounted on to the figure's shoulders or something. Rather than the battle-station being a large accessory. :-?

Other than that really I guess I'm more than happy with the trailer and definitely all in for getting like two or three (since I have a bunch of Rodimus figures both Henkei and Classics, and got a classics version for my brother too). :grin:

I guess it's not fair to poke at how astonishingly little of that rig goes into the robot mode (what with Hot Rod being a deluxe and all). I think gun platform's missiles will fire (or at least come off

), and I really like turning his flamethrower into a rifle.

I like it & preordering the instant I know I can. I wonder if we'll see a Destroyer from the Defender mold?

Looks great. The only thing I don't like is the head. It just doesn't look quite right to me. I'll reserve judgement until I see it in the final colors, but so far, I'm digging it.

Now I'm hoping Fansproject will also do an upgrade for deluxe Galvatron to match Protector... and turn a weak figure into something glorious on par with a City Commander or Protector. :PRAY:

could just be that its still in its "whiteform" before production. the photoshopped version gives me an excellent idea of how it will look - though the final will prolly have a tweak here or there.

must admit, for the amount of size - an over noggin is pretty impressive on that scale considering City/Nemesis/Powered Commander was a lot bigger n bulkier (i think somone mentioned that earlier?)

wish my car hadn't packed out and im having to pay through the nose to get it sorted :sad:

Stunning, awesome, SO BOUGHT!!! :shock:

I am curious about the roof-thing above the cockpit(?), it is clearly designed to reference the original Rodimus Prime's 'spoiler', does this mean that Fansproject are going to have to release two versions, one with a yellowy orange part for the US Classics and the other with gold chrome to match the Henkei release? It would also make sense with the slightly different hue of red used in the two versions.

I think Classics Galvatron needs more than a suit of armour. If Hasbro does not do it, Fansproject should consider a whole new Voyager/Ultra sized mould for Galvatron.

I think everyone has mentioned everything I'm thinking about it. The add on for his gun is sweet. I do hope the head will be a little different, not crazy about it. The original Rodimus had a gun station right? So making the left overs do the same is cool with me. Like someone else posted, I thought the bottom of the station looked like there was a rollar in there. Must have in my book. I just custom painted my classic Rodimus to look G1. I wonder if this will damage the paint?

awesome, not perfect, but awesome.

the trailer in gun platform mode looks funky, i mean i cant tell whats what atm, but I will most likely not place it visibly on the shelf.
the shape of new component on the gun does not blend well with the rest of it.
I wish the shoulders blended in more, either by hiding the wheels like the concept drawing or blending with the wedge shape of the existing shoulders.
the flames carved into the sides of the trailer look odd atm, but we will see when its coloured.
I wish hot rod's wing-thing didn't poke out so oddly in vehicle mode, like if they added more elements to make it seem like part f the trailer.

regardless of all i said, i like it and i will be buying it.

Looks nice to me. As others have stated, my only concerns are the head (which I'm sure will look better painted) and the back wings. The more I think about it, the wings probably bother me the most. I would love to see a wing/spoiler extension for robot mode.

Wow! I don't actually have a Rodimus figure, but seeing this, it makes a good add-on for those who enjoy making stopmotions! Nice work, Fansproject! Can't wait to see the final product! By the way, my Shadow Warrior came in today! Really excited here, even though I don't own Shadow Commander... Man, I can see it now - "New Fansproject prototype- Galva-gun" (As in Galvatron)

You can't hit a grand slam every time at bat... This is a triple, and stolen home plate on a wild pitch. But now that we have seen things from them, we expect more, so they have to do more to make us go ew, and ah. I like it, and I hope they make it. It's like Apex armor for Rodimus, with less guns, and more 'muscle'/armor, I guess.

I was thinking the same thing and I believe they are.

I love this figure. FP FTW again! The battle station is a little bulky but I'm guessing it will have some cool gimmicks to make up for that.
