Hmm, sounds less like Wings of Uranos and more like Rage of Hercules. In other words, it's not necessary for me to feel like I've got a complete character.

Im no fan of "powered up" kibble modes to begin with so I can live without the extra parts. I never even heard of Rack and Ruin before this thread. If they look cool, ill get them along with the extra parts. It wouldnt be the first time Ive added IDW characters to my G1 themed classics collection. I dont have the faith in Hasbro thats some of you loyalists have. For me, generations springer was a bust. He was huge, out of scale and had long slender girly legs. I love my defender and regardless of what Hasbro makes (or doesnt) this is a must have. Dont get me wrong, Hasbro did an awesome job on G1 whirl. Before that we got Shitzwing. So now its time for Hasbro to choke again. They never get two G1 themed molds in a row flawless. Im not counting Rhinox since he isnt G1.

They were originally from the Marvel UK comics.

I think its safe to say now that this is tbe definitive roadbuster. No need to wait for hasbro. Theyll either get the scale wrong or Make him a lazy repaint.

I would have agreed with you until I got Generations Whirl in hand. If they can get Whirl so right, I will give them the chance to do the same with Roadbuster.

Yeah I keep him in car mode. Not sure where to display him. But my point is are you willing to pay aftermarket prices for Revolver if Hasbro chokes ?

Just as with the Function X line, I don't think I'd have to worry about Warbot Revolver selling out. There's just too much other product on the market.

Just as with the Function X line, I don't think I'd have to worry about Warbot Revolver selling out. There's just too much other product on the market.

Code and Steelcore sold out quick and scalpers almost doubled the price.

Just as with the Function X line, I don't think I'd have to worry about Warbot Revolver selling out. There's just too much other product on the market.

Code and Steelcore sold out quick and scalpers almost doubled the price.

Steelcore was an exclusive, I can understand that. (they might do a second run with the trailer soon so I wouldn't pay that price if I were you)

For code I just sold mine for $105 shipped (can't stand his box torso anymore) ... hardly doubled... Plus there are no other options (currently) for those characters.

I'm *thinking* about picking up the reissue of Steelcore. I know he's not an homage to any TF character but his look has grown on me, and people tend to rave about him.

I can sympathize with your desire to sell Code. UUUU & Smart Robin are just lightyears ahead of him, if not in engineering, than in pure aesthetics. But until TFCC's Chromedome (which is full of compromises, btw - I wish they had decided on either IDW or G1, and stuck with it), Code's what we have, and I'm a sucker for complete sets of things.

Yea TFCC's Chromedome's arms are too long head sculpt is a little weird. But I don't care about headmaster Chromedome I care about IDW Chromedome.

Engineering is not the issue (engineering is great in fact) with CODE its the (robot mode) aesthetics. I love Brainstorm and UUUU though.

Leave Code alone, he is great even if he does wear slippers. I'm sure FP will reissue this figure if it does sell out. They did it with their city commander, colossus and defender. Supply and demand and all that.

Code is fine... he's just significantly outclassed by his other Function X counterparts. He can't help it if he was designed first.

Also, didn't they already reissue Code? Because I certainly didn't get mine from the initial X-mas 2012 batch.

I got mine on eBay after I thought they had all sold out. The price? Maybe £10 more than at launch. I can live with some inflation if it lets Hasbro have their shot first. Besides, some people will dump FP Roadbuster even if the Hasbro one is mediocre. A lot of people would prefer any official version to a perceived standin. I bet a lot of Defenders are purposeless now, I still prefer mine to Generations Springer though, if only for scale.

I also hope the Generations RB is top notch like Whirl & Springer bc I'll get it too, but this figure is nice.
