Borderlands
Hit the arena and survived the 1st 2 rounds. the Baddass fire skagg says I should level up before tackling round 3.
Ran some side missions including powering up turbines and taking out a Rakk flock. Tracked down the parts to a nifty sniper rifle, then went after a missing mine key. It wasn't where it was supposed to be, so ran into a bandit nest, took out a roid rage psycho, and collected said mine key. Game wasn't kind enough to give me and easy exit so had to fight my way back out.![]()
I honestly don't know why, but I see pre-disposed to hating this game, yet I keep playing it. Very confusing.![]()

Yeah, being level 18 or so is optimal for the first Arena missions.
Also, who are you playing as?

Gaze upon the face of fury and death. Crawmerax the Invincible, who's name isn't just meant to be scary, his only damageable pieces are his well-hidden critical spots. Also almost all of his attacks will either one-shot a maxed-out character, or at the very least reduce you to near-zero health. he also gives out totally bitchin' loot. He is, in every sense of the word, a superboss. He's only in DLC3, though.
Now gaze upon the face of hope and love. Bessie, brought to you by the good people at Jakobs. ("If it took more than one shot, you weren't using a Jakobs!") That shill not only made me $20, it's also true in Bessie's case. Pearlescent, rarest of the rare, I didn't even find her, she was given to me by a friend of mine. She is as deadly to Crawmerax as Crawmerax is to you. Again, she's only in DLC3. And yes, I want to have sex with this gun.
And before you claim this is a spoiler, remember, in Borderlands, there are no spoilers. Merely warnings...

On my Berserker I just found this shotgun called "Terrible Carnage" that defies the laws of Shotguns! All summed up in the boxed text"Holy Crap! It shoots rockets!"

The thing about rocket shotguns is that they're really underpowered compared to regular shotguns. Sure, they're rare and they look impressive, and they're the combination of a shotgun and a rocket launcher, but they tend to have the worst stats of both sides. You should really ditch it as soon as you get a real rocket launcher.

I know I looked extremely badass out there, 1337W422102, getting bot kills in the hundreds, ranking at the top of all those matches, getting team switched to a team that was one good grenade away from losing and then immediately leading that team to victory, and winning what, three matches in a row? I have no idea how that happened, I'm not usually that awesome. Maybe I just ate some good churros.
EDIT: No, wait, it was 3-1, I forgot about that loss. Barely even scratched my enemy's moneyball on that one...

A little hard to rate yourself on this one, but for the record both my wanted and officer levels are at level 4.
