It's not too hard, just avoid their ground attacks when they're in vehicle mode, make sure to run around to get the Health Cubes (there are 3 in the area, I think), and when they land, shoot them (this will make them put up their shield and camp, I think), run towards them and beat the smeg outta them. I don't remember if the ground slam (jump+attack) works on them, but the 3-hit combo works just fine.

Moved up a few more levels. Having a surprising amount of trouble with the wither planet. those reappearing blocks have left me in no-survive situations way too many times.

a little late... I figured out if I just kept mashing the attack button and NOT fight conservitively (as I prefer) I could come through nearly unscaved.

Replaying konquest mode for extra cash and missed relics. Found a few i missed the first time through (including Hotaru's flags, Tanya's choker, and Sub-zero's amulet. I'm wondering if there's a version difference, because the players guide I read said Smoke's item was a cigarette (neat in-joke, BTW) but in-game it was his mask. Hmm... Anyway, up to 49/50 relics. Now I just have to find that one I missed.

Probably, I don't remember exactly where he is. I just remember that the room had green walls, there were 2 or 3 of the Bomb-eating rhino dudes, and if you bombed a hole in the wall at the top of the screen (it might have just been a simple door), you'd find the room with the bomb salesman.

Now, yeah, I'm in an happy as far as Vile Mode goes. But why not Zero? Even if he was just a slight retool of X, only a bit stronger (And possibly with different weapons) would've been nice.

I know, I know, I like Zero because I prefer his Z-Saber combat to X's X-Buster, and he doesn't get a saber until X2.
