I don't man, he had to go through a lot in Blue Shift...![]()

The only problem is that they're guarded by Hunters, who are essentially mini-Striders. They're shorter, smarter, faster, and somewhat more aware of their surroundings, all of which give them HUGE advantages. They're equipped with a weapon VERY similar to the Needler from Halo, only without the large explosions. Their shortcoming is that they're not quite as tough as a Strider, and a shot from the RPG, or a similar amount of damage can put them down for the count.
Take all of that, and combine it with the fact that you can't run while carrying things with the Gravity Gun, and it makes it much harder (Though not impossible) to take down the Striders before the Hunters. Essentially, that makes the Hunters just a distraction, since if a single Strider can get a shot off at White Forest with it's Particle Beam, it's game over.
It would be easier if the soldiers teamed up with you could be told to focus on the Hunters while I take down the Striders, but that's not an option.

Barely through the Inverted castle. All I really did was beat the Giant Bat.
However, I explored the vast majority of the normal castle. I also used the Jewel Sword to nab enough money to buy Joseph's Cloak. It changes colors. Amazing! (Anyone get the joke?)
