Hot on the heels of the Seibertron.com Interview by CNN concerning the release of Shout! Factory's Japanese Collection - Headmasters, site owner Ryan Yzquierdo, aka Seibertron himself, was interviewed by Geek To Me's Elliott Serrano. Geek To Me is one of the pop-culture blogs of the Chicago Tribune's RedEye. G2M: Who is your favorite Transformer bot?

Ryan Yzquierdo: Soundwave without a doubt. There’s just something very awesome about him, despite the fact that he transforms into an outdated Walkman that plays cassette tapes. His toy is still my favorite after all of these years. He’s just a classic character and a classic toy. I think the fact that Hasbro has had such a difficult time updating Soundwave to modern times has helped maintain the appeal of this character to me.

People that know me often compare me to Kevin Smith.

Surreal thinking about how you guys picture me that haven't met me in person. Or the rest of the podcast staff. Hmm ... makes me think I should start up that Seibertron.com staff page idea again.

first off thats really cool so congrats to Mr. Seibertron!!

but i had to chuckle at the little slideshow of characters they have on the page. it shows a picture of what clearly is the Protectobots combined (forgive me, forget his name) and he's labelled as Fortress Maximus. lol
