Yes. The CG has a removable helmet, and Scar has hair under his helmet, which was different than most of the earliest releases of the cobras.

I found the Cobra Nightwatch and Red Ninja trooper packs at Ann Arbor, MI TRU last night. the Nightwatch troopers are awesome! I'm assuming the Crimson Guard packs haven't been released yet?

also, the CG/Scarface two pack rocks! I have 3 of them!

that was the thing that impressed me the most about scar (ie scarface) like in the old comics , he has hair. :)

Man, I picked up the Battle Armor Cobra Commander today.
I actually despised this figure when he was originally
produced back in the day, but this version is all kinds of awesome.
Man, he just looks evil. I passed up the Seal and Rock n' Roll.
Are there any plans to make the 2 gun, later, version of RnR? I like him better than the one they have made.

I got my battle damaged snake eyes and storm shadow comic two pack if you don't own that one by all means pick it up the snakes eyes in the pack adds a nice contrast to single figure pack on which he is based, also the comic is well done no text or caption of any type the whole thing is told by the actions in the panels. Now on to the main event the fred VII: Crimson guard and scar-face cobra trooper comic two pack. The figure models are the same as single pack figures just with minor tweaks, to each figure but what made this pack stand out for me is the comic, I won't give an spoilers let just say it tells the story of how everyone favorite doctor was created and if you don't know who I'm talking about it is doctor mindbender so do yourself a favor and pick up both of these along with the Crimson twins comic two pack.

very nice, it sounds like he must have written it as a sequel to the classic silent issue (#21) of the original comics series.

Not so much a sequel but a parallel timeline/retelling of Silent Interlude.

Today I bought Marvel 80s GI Joe #2, second printing.
Oh, I also got that 25 cent America's Elite issue, "The Hunt for Cobra Commander."

I actually just read it, and found it a bit confusing. IN one panel it looks like as Snake Eyes is avoiding a Storm Shadow throwing star, there is another Snake Eyes jumping at him. I know it tried to fill in the gaps, but I thought it didn't do it very well. It was very hard to follow. Yes, you could mostly understand what was happening, but not always.

True enuff but I bought it for the figures which I love it is first time that I can remember every seeing snake eyes with a battle damaged costume. The high-light for me was the comic that came with scar-face cobra trooper and fred VII crimson guard. It worth picking up just for that even if you already own the single pack crimson guard and any of the several different releases of the cobra trooper mold.

Big News for anyone who loved the cobra B.A.T. in one of the upcoming waves this year they are releasing it into the 25th anniversary series of figures. But the cool thing about this B.A.T. is it will have interchangeable hands that will store in the backpack that it will be carrying as well as the standered weapon and stand that comes with every release in the series. This gives me real hope for a new release of doctor mindbender. So what do you guys think about this edition to series.

The other thing that is coming this summer is G.I. Joe 25th anniversary battle packs which will come with 5 figures and dvd of min-series they are based off, also if you collect all of them you can assemble a mass device of your very own. The five packs slated for June release are: The MASS DEVICE, WEATHER DOMINATOR, ARISE SERPENTOR ARISE, PYRAMID OF DARKNESS, and G.I. JOE THE MOVIE (1980s) the asking price for these is $19.95.

He is based off Snake Eyes version 3 that I do believe was released in either '88 or '89. That was the first and at the time only Snake Eyes I ever had. Cool figure but I'm still not sure if those chest knives are removable.

The Bats will be cool. To be honest the original BATS are my favorite. I'm not sure where my original BAT is but I'm sure the figure is in one location while the hand is elsewhere. I do hope they make a troop building set.

I didn't know one of the DVD sets will be the movie. That just saved me some $$$ trying to get it off eBay.

Thanks for the info on snake eyes. I'm looking forward to the battle packs can't wait to collect them all and build myself a scale model mass device.

I just hope it works as well as a full size one. Imagine the money I'll save in travel. One thing that does bother me about the packs is that it looks like they're just repackaging some of the 5-pack figures as is without fixing the waist pieces or hands in regard to Destro.

According to an article I just read the other day the pictures of the five figure sets that have going around the net are just place holder for the really figures that will be in the set. They will be new designs based of the character in the cartoon so Destro will be able to hold a weapon in one hand and something else in the other and lady jay will come without a hat among other cool feature in the rest of the sets. The only thing I don't get is how there going to include the Pyramid of darkness in one of the sets because each is supposed to come with piece of the mass device as well as the featured cobra device from that min-series.

Ya know it might have been a miss pic but I could've sworn I saw a small mass device included with one set as well as a part to the larger mass device. I can see them making one a smaller size just for show and then the one you build is the scale one to use with the figures.

Seeing as how this is 25th Anniversary Fig Talk and More, Does anyone on here collect sigma 6 figures? I am just wondering because i just dug out my almost mint collection of gi joe figures and i was thinking of collecting them again. I never stoped collecting transformers figures but I did stop collecting gi joe. I was wondering if the sigma 6 figures and other lines of new gi joe figures where worth picking up. I just ordered the 25th anniversary figures that are really nice looking. Someone please let me know?

Never really liked the sigma six figures thought they looked kind of funny but you might like them much like some people like transformers animated and some don't. Plus I don't even think they make sigma six anymore. So you might just be collecting 25th anniversary figures at this stage.

The line like any has its sweet figs, and blah figs. S6 was overrun with Snake Eyes, Duke, and Storm Shadow variants, it got a bit overwhelming near the end.

However, there are some really great figures out there, and they have awesome weapons and articulation.

It's not my favorite, I'm a simple 3.75 guy myself, but I do have most of S6, and did enjoy collecting it. 8)
