i do think of that actually my ideas dont look good from scratch im a good copyer but when it comes down to draw something out of my head with having to look at something it looks like crap some poeple just have differnt ways of drawing and this is my way.

Last time, all I was good at was copying myself

But I think sometimes coying is a way to learn, just don't go claiming it to be your work. Best thing to do the next time you copy is try to notice stuff in the picture you're copying like "oh, so that's how an arm will look bent?" and stuff like that

It's just that compared to some of the guys on here I feel like an ammature even though I'm a pretty good cartoonist.

Thought I'd share my latest work in progress (I think I've definately improved since my last posted sketch

). Still have a looong way to go though, but I like how this one's turning out. Behold my Jeep Grand Cherokee, "Highbeam" in his sketchy (and slightly inked) glory

I also did this pic yesterday of me holding a plushie Highbeam, nicknamed "Huggabeam" (thanks God Magnus!)

Those are all awesome! Wow, I'm so envious! Poor Phoenix, she's just something in my head & I can't get her out cuz I can't draw

Oh well, she's cool still! I've been laying out her character traits & getting some ideas on a "story" to do with her!

Man! just got back from a HUGE drive (Bendigo > Kyabram> Melbourne > Canberra > Ulladulla & back to Bendigo) a bit worn out, but I hope to do a bit more on Ol' Sentry - depending on my work load :S

Actually, I have several, but my favorites are my twins - Alpha and Omega - and Alpha's little sparklet - Kit.

Alpha's a light blue Ford F-150 Pickup truck. Her brother, Omega, is a black EuroFighter 2000 Jet with frosty blue optics, but a red visor over them and Kit's a white tiger.
