well the fact of the matter is tahe i wasnt so much releaved that he waas coming back a mad beacuse he died a heros death in the first movie and bringing him back For any reason is Just streching it a bit. I liked Jazz dont get me wrong but i feel briniging him back would Be a shame to those of use that want to see new faces in the autobot ranks

NuclearConvoy, if you subtract the sum of the deaths in TF1 from the death in TF2 you will see that the multiple account of the survivors of TF3 is actually the equal to the related death in the total series.

4 Special Editions equals 8 DVDs or disc depending on your country of origin. With the availability of multiple selections (6 I think exactly) the sum of total disc raises to a higher equal value.
Statistically speaking my first Transformer toy was Optimus Prime and my little had Ratchet. He didn't really enjoy Ratchet because Ratchet's toy for some odd reason didn't have a head. Will Ratchet lose his head in TF2? Well the stimulation of the odds are against it. Although seeing Ironhide receive a blast to the dome in TF2 would be quite similar to the TFM death. My the more things change the more they stay the same. I need to learn how to purchase stock shares with Hasbro indubitably!!!

Silly???...not at all my good friend. The DVD simple states the phase "G1 Based" several times in the special features. I'm familiar with all the TF1 characters. TF1 held my interest due to the fact it was based on the real Transformers. I'm looking forward to TF2 where we will see more real Transformers, like Arcee, Soundwave, Prowl...OMG I'm like so excited. It's going to be great! I can't wait for TF2 to come out. It's going to be totally awesome. Like totally.

And gee, hmmm I seem to remember G1 Megatron turning into a gun, not a alien jet, Frenzy turned into a cassette not a portable cd player, Bumblebee turned into a VW bug and was young and inexperienced, he didn't turn into a muscle car and was definitely not a seasoned veteran, and Barricade was barely a part of G1!

So yes, Transformers the Movie is based on G1 about as much as all the other TF series over the years.

I stopped watching Transformers in 88...Where I lived thats when it went of the air. When Paramont/Dreamworks/Hasbro decided to bring the real Transformers back into the mainstreamed I supported by purchasing a ticket. I also purchased the DVD. I have no knowledge of any SUB-sequent series. I have started that a few times dear Burn. Hopefully you understand now. If not, fine this is my final reply in regards. I'm just looking forward to the scene where Darius McCrary get his cameo in the Pontiac. Its going to be great. Thanks you for your time.

Secondly, they didn't bring back G1, or "real Transformers" as you like to call it. Because the movie is it's own universe, it's own continuity, it, like all the other TF series, have borrowed aspects from G1.

And IF you have no knowledge of all the other series, then I highly recommend you go out and pick up some of the box sets or comics, they're highly enjoyable.

I'm just curious at how they are going to work that scene. Hopefully the Autobots will be there. Well at least Bumblebee. I'm still getting use to the Bumblebee talking like KITT from Knight Rider. Props to Mike Bay for giving Darius McCrary the cameo. I wonder if GMC is helping fund TF2 or if it was just a deal for TF1? Thing is, with TF2 & TF3 using the vehicles it would seem that GMC may get free promotion. Which in turn makes me wonder who TF2 may kill off so they could make new deals for TF3.
