Agreed. Very Happy to all dads. IT's extra special this year as my wife and I found out this past Friday that she's pregnant with our first child.

Hey, congrats, that's great news! And Happy Fathers Day, Dads!

Stopped by Walmart in Glen Ellyn, Rt 53 and Butterfield Rd, for some shirts and other stuff. I was thinking about getting the WM exclusive race-ready Sideswipe, love the gunslinger mold. What do I find instead? HA Whirl and Tailpipe, yay! They only had one of each, so I grabbed both.
And then the most unexpected sight: a single, lonely, Generations Warpath! After an audible gasp (what a geek!), I snatched him up and guarded him as I shopped for the othr stuff I needed. His package was perfect except for a torn hanging hook. I'm ZOWEE very happy. KAPOW and such.
I always feel bad posting about when I've bought the last of something cool. It feels more like a bragging than a sighting. *shrug*

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

Ryan, the Kre-o Prime, Scream and Sentinel haven't been seen near us as of yet(aka Chicago area). Matteson TRU had Bee and Prowl and that was all that was left there by the T-Formers section.

Hip-Hoptimus Rime wrote:That would be fun, but no can do. Trying to make it for Wed afternoon.
Has anyone seen the BK DOTM toys in the W or NW burbs? I went to one on Ogden in Downers Grove and, aside from Double Stacker/onion ring-shortened life span, came away empty-handed.
I'm getting one set of all of them, and another set of Autobots for my kids.

OK, it was A legends, and it was bumblebee, but hey, that means they're in stock!
First-Aid wrote:OK all, a little off topic kind of, but I was curious to know if any of the rest of you have picked up the DOTM game and what your thoughts are...
I'm impressed so far...Mirage has been my fave to play, but I just started the Soundwave chapter so I'm not that far in. Haven't touched multiplayer yet.
Seibertron wrote:So that was quite the little storm we had last night, eh? I guess my house (in Des Plaines) is extremely fortunate. We just have one smaller four foot branch in the back that got blown down. We also have power, and miraculously none of our patio furniture outside was damaged (including our glass table) nor was my daughter's play toys outside (fisher price basketball net, her step 2 castle and other toys, etc) damaged nor does it look they even moved. However, across the street and one one block down on either side of my house has no power. None of Wolf has it, it looks like a really bad wind gust went right down Wolf rd by the destruction that is left over from the storm, all of Oakton is crazy and without power. Kmart and all of the other stores around there were closed due to the power outage. I drove down Lee/Mannheim toward the Rosemont Target. That neighborhood got hit hard as well! Mount Prospect got hit really hard as well, power seems to be out for most of Mount Prospect, though surprisingly (or rather not surprisingly) Walmart still had power but nothing around it did.
