No, because of certain peoples ignorance around here, i was trying to show that i am not a fanboy because i chose to buy a different system other than a Sony one. If i was a fanboy then i would still have bought that piece of crap that is the PS3 woudlnt i? Sheesh....try to think logically next time before you post.

Lets see, does a fanboy also own a Dreamcast, a gaming pc, and an xbox 360, a PS2 (a broken ps1) and a PSP? I dont think so.

I enjoy games on all formats if they are good, but the wii, as with every other system nintendo has ever come out with, has never offered me anything good, where as every other company (sega, sony, microsoft) has.

Your definitions of a fanboy are incorrect and uninformed.

A fanboy is someone who goes around saying how awesome their console is and how crap every other system is regardless of facts. Have i done this? No.

I have only said that the 360 is the best system for games and online play on the market right now(a fact, if you dont beleive it, go to any large games website and find out for yourself. A little history lesson would help too), spoken what everybody else is thinking about the PS3 (that its a huge disappointment, and the fact that it has no good games) and that the Wii is an underpowered gimmick designed for kids (an opinion, but from a technical standpoint quite a solid fact when you compare its processing power to the likes of real next/current-gen systems.)

I like how im not allowed to express my opinion of the Wii without being called a fanboy. Smells like the typical Nintendo fan defending their beloved system arguement i have heard a million times already. Diss every other system you like, but god help you if you say something remotely bad about the Wii!

Allow me to translate may I (I'm not a fanboy because I Used to be a Sony fanboy but now I only hype the 360 cause it best system for online game and because I say so it's a fact . and I get flak for attacking the #1 selling console on the planet).
With my translation let me just say as a actual person who own all three of the gen systems that as far as the Wii is concerned I thought just like our little friend who think denial is a river in Africa. I too think its gimmicky and underpowered. However You can not deny its success, But Adam Sessler made a real good point most of the Wii games are realy simple what happens when you tired of hacking and slashing, and you want a more complex game what will nintendo do then. As for the PS3 if they drop there price to $400 I can Guarantee Mr. I'm not fanboy along with the vast majority of gamers will at that point own a PS3.

The controls suck. (I know, I know, it's all been covered before.)

The Cement Mixer Drone is a pain in the ass. (Knock him down, pick him up (C button) and throw him. x3 on both moves.)

Prime chasing Bumblebee was just stupid for the sake of stupid.

Ironhide saving Jazz's ass wasn't the worst part of the game, but tedious.

Bumblebee in Hoover Dam, trying to stop the security drones...ARGH. I beat the first one, can't do a damn thing to the second set.

The driving is erratic (I feel like a drunk Mel Gibson! Oh joy! ...now if there was only someone to call sugartits...but I digress) and overall, it's not the most pleasant experience I've had with a video game, but it's far from the worst, and some of it's quite fun. (Like smashing the sh*t out of stuff. )

The Decepticon campaign...urgh. I can't get get past Blackout's search for the 5 databases. By the time I get to the first one, I'm blown to bits. I've done the air battle thing, hoping it would ease up on me. Oh hell no, they come in droves. Land and air.

...bastards.

All in all, not great, but not a terrible experience. I give it a solid 3, out of 5.

Oh you can "guarantee" it can you? So people will go out and buy a system with crappy online play and no games just because its cheap? Is the market flooded with people who want expensive paperweights then?

Haha, yeah my taste is crap because i choose not the play the same rehashed kiddie mario game or zelda game over and over again. No my taste is crap because id rather play games like MGS2, RE4, Gears Of War, Devil May Cry, GTA etc etc....yep my taste really sucks since i dont like playing games designed for kids....

I got into gaming with Super Mario World at age 3. My dad was the one who got it for me, he got into gaming in the seventies with Pong.

We're a gaming family.

i bought a wii for fun, and i'm gonna buy an xbox 360 for graphics, i've always been a sony fanboy, but i bought a wii and the games are so fun, the wii remote make even more fun, i had never played a nintendo game before i got a wii. I don't regret buying one.

Speaking of TF on the Wii...can anyone tell me how to beat Megatron VS Bumblebee (Hoover Dam), and Blackout VS Ironhide (Central Park)?

I, just cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to beat either one of those bosses and I checked the counter (in the Wii message board)...I spent 3.5 hours just trying to figure those two out. I'm persistent if nothing else...

Well...

The graphics are quite good considering most people don't even call the Wii a next gen system.

The gameplay is repetitive and somewhat boring in spots, super irritating in others. (Such as Prime chasing Sector 7 in a seemingly endless level...)

The controls definitely require some practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's fun to be an actual part of the game.

The characters are replicated nicely, although some of the voice work requires some polishing. VAs Cullen, Welker, David, LaBeouf, and Fox are at the top of their game (no pun intended), while the rest of the cast, especially Starscream really kinda reach. (You can tell it.)

The trailers (need to be unlocked) actually have nice audio and video quality to them, and the stills (also to be unlocked) show some pictures I've never even seen before.
The G1 skins are a nice addition for the fanboys, and overall, the special features are a nice touch.

I do recommend renting the game.
I even recommend adding it to your game collection.
I do however recommend you do not pay full price for it, and wait for it to go on clearance or become one of the "Best Seller" games. As it is, it's not worth the $50.00 asking price.

$50.00's way too much money for a game of this caliber. It's not terrible, but it's not going to win any awards, and it shows.

I give it a solid 2.5-3.0 out of 5.0

I'd give it a higher rating if it just wasn't so infuriating in the controls and damn near impossible in some levels. (Bumblebee VS Megatron in Hoover Dam, for example.)

I'm not calling you a system-specific fanboy, such as a sony fanboy. Although clearly, by your own admission you were one for 10 years.
However, this continued talk of things that suck, which system is THE BEST, and your excessive denial of your fanboy status constitutes general fanboy behaviour.
Yes you own a bunch of different systems, but you still think it is important to inform everyone of which system you think is the best and exactly how much you hate the systems that you are not a fan of.

I didnt say the 360 was a saviour, but it was the only system out that i wanted due to Sony messing up the PS3, and Nintendo being..well Nintendo.

As far as argueing with every person about the Wii goes, ive never done that. All ive done is express my OPINION on how i think the Wii is a pile of trash, and i then get the typical Nintendo flame defense in return. That is why this thread has derailed and why we are now having this conversation. Its not MY fault people cant take the fact that someone out there doesnt like the Wii without people getting on their ass about it, and thus trying to make it look liek its all their fault that the arguements have started in the first place.

Well, the system doesn't suck. Just because a developer botched the control scheme for a game, doesn't necessarily mean the console sucks as a whole.
