Attic and storage

I need to free up space in my room, so I was thinking of putting my stuff in the attic. However, I am worried that the heat and humidity may worn out my toys, like maybe yellowing or the rusting issue with MP Megatron's feet. :-(

I wouldn't reccomend storing any transformers toys in a ATTIC.

Because most Attics i know of are always way to cold in the winter. way to hot in the summer. their prone to water leaks when it's heavily raining. have rodents problems.

from my experience most house builders don't bother to fully finish off attics nor do they bother to fully insulate attics.

ofcause this is my experience with my attics, from myself, other family members & friends. since everyone has different experience,i don't have a clue what your attic looks like.

Bubble wrap is a solid way of protecting your toys, it's not that expensive. Seal it with tape and box them up tightly!

Megs' feet are an issue you can't beat with bubblewrap, you're going to have to keep 'em clean.

In my opinion. If your storing them in an attic which is a cool dry place ideal for storing things because if the house is built properly it should have good air movement and a constant recycling of fresh air. Deathy does have a great point though. All attics are not created equally or to code. So beware.
But in an ideal attic scenario i would store them in a rubbermaid tote and simply rap em in newspaper. The tote will keep em out any elements, for example, such as a direct roof leak with dripping water. And in the event of a frost/cold snap there are plenty of air pockets in crumpled newspaper to keep the figures safe . Or in a case of extreme humidity the paper will absorb any moderate moisture before coming in contact with the figure while letting it evaporate later. Bubble wrap would let water vapor or frost condense and create pockets or pools of water and possibly be a breeding ground for mould or a fungus.

Least that's my logic about the scenario anyhow.
