TFSource sent us some info on a G1 Jetfire Add-On.

We have a new upgrade kit for G1 enthusiasts who are looking to upgrade their G1 jetfire! Included is a set of articulated hands, a new head, and gun. Wow, that's pretty bold. An add-on kit for a very expensive G1 figure.

Unless by some miracle there is a re-issue of G1 Jetfire, I can't see this selling well...

Wow... Just, wow... No.

And to make it worse, just think about where a VF-1 Vakyrie's head ends up in fighter mode. Just sitting under the cockpit, staring forward. Given the very stylized look of any Valkyrie's head (including the VF-1S style head that Jetfire had), in their case they didn't look out of place there. But a much more humanoid looking face would just... well... well...

Looks terrible and for $40!!

I've never seen the point in updating G1 figs with add ons anyway.(CrazyDevy style)
