Just because there's a petition for it, doesn't make it true.

Exactly.

If she were a good teacher I don't think the petition would have even gotten off the ground. I know students talk **** about teachers all the time, but I've never seen a movement to get one fired before. She must have done more than give out a few F's to get that kind of response.

We're talking about high school kids. They couldn't act logically even if they were all Vulcans.

No, it's because you're walking masses of hormones that act almost entirely on impulse without thinking things through. You think everything can't be explained logically. One day, you'll learn that you're wrong and someone doesn't deserve to lose their job over giving you an F for not turning in your assignment at the required time.

No, but someone in your school did. Either way it still adds to my point. Similarly, you were cheering that someone is losing their job over a hit-and-run DUI. You never did explain what he did to earn that kind of animosity.

Well I'm sure you know by now that school is still in session. Take it from someone who's whole family works for the Board of Ed. There is always somebody to replace somebody.

To build on what CB said, I too can look back to when I was a teenager and wonder what the hell I was thinking, but I can also look back to when I was 25 think the same thing. Life is all about growing and learning from our mistakes. There was one teacher at high school who used fear and intimidation to break us, once we were broken he'd teach us. Every kid who had him hated and feared him. But I tell you what, when I got a new teacher for the same subject, I realised just how a good of a teacher he was. He may have terrified the **** out of me but I got my best grades with him, and to this day I have nothing but respect for him.

I had a teacher in high school who was almost like that. He hated lower classmen. When we were freshmen and sophmores, he treated us like crap. If we even looked at this guy wrong we ended up staying after school in his class. Even the bad ass students knew not to mess with him. And the ones who did, well they didn't last very long at our school. But by the time senior year came, he was still the same with freshman and sophmores, but with us he was totally different. He joked around in class, he was lighthearted, used funny stories to teach us history, and we were all quiet and respectful in class, and his senior year history class was the one everyone enjoyed. And when it came for finals, his classes had the most students who could skip the finals because their grades in the class were so high, (I was one of them).

Sounds an awful lot like you were cheering he got hit with a DUI and that "something exciting" was a bonus.

And you don't read correctly, I said SOME.
Ok then how about 99.5% of them. You forget I have a 17 year old daughter, I see how these teens act and damn near all of them are run by hormones and "ego"..

What do you mean? it may be because I am a teenager that I don't understand. But I think before I do things...most of the times. Every time I do somthing, I think about possible consequences, some times I just ignore them though, with small things that is.

BTW, I'm in school right now, and the assistant principal is in the room NOW!!! Holy crap! Either they let him go, or he had the balls enough to break out of jail and come back to work! Actually, he's allowed to work until his court date.

You started a thread exclaiming how happy you were that someone was in a hit-and-run and got a DUI.

I already told you, I was excited about there being a possibility of somthing exciting happening the next day... like the military showing up at my school and blowing stuff up.

That's exactly my point. You acted on impulse, you created this thread instead of looking up what would actually happen.

It's not that serious. I didn't really expect that to happen at all. But when do you ever get a chance to say that "my principal was arrested"? I have no one else to tell, so I put it on the internet.

That much I can understand. There's also that you were "so happy" that he was arrested. You also claimed "the possibilities are endless" when it was, in fact, there were no possibilities.

Do like Burn says. Everything you're saying either works against you, or it contradicts (or is contradicted by) something you said earlier.

You mentioned that you
Every time I do somthing, I think about possible consequences

But you posting this thread and the way it comes across is not backing up your statement.

You also put..
some times I just ignore them though, with small things that is.

You should not ignore better judgment no matter how big or small it is.
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).
